Not done as much as I would like. Other things going in the world. But I have started refining the saucer -

The saucer is coming along real nicely. Little more detail, and then I will texture it. Few smoothing errors to fix as well, but here's todays offering -

Started playing around with colour. I've provisionally gone with a pearlescent scheme so that the hull changes hue depending on the lighting - but it's not very TNG. Still, this is just me playing (because I needed a break from doing the windows, lol) - let me know what you think -

Oh yes, 10 points will be awarded if you can see what I forgot to build into the hull and am now scratching my head as how to fix :-s

PS, because of home life I am going to have to take a lengthy break from the 1 December 2022 until probably April 2023. I should have this ship done before then, but if not I will come back. I'm enjoying finishing projects :-)

He he... Yep, the impulse engine will be on the back of the neck.

It was the shield grid that I forgot to build in. I have fixed that and am working on some other details. Renders later ;-)

Today's offering - stuff still to do on the saucer; Phaser Warning Markers, Rooms behind windows, finish inner ring details, lower sensor pallets - but here's the state of play-

Can't believe I forgot to build the shield grid in. It's generally one of the first things I do, the rest of the geometry is built around it. Still, I had a fix that worked. Arboretum windows are in, on the inside ring aft on the saucer. I'm going to need to build a new Arboretum set for this ship - but that's no biggie. The general room behind window set is going to be the same I've used before, but with a TNG colour scheme. It's ready, I just need to line it up and start arraying it.

Anyway, waffling a bit. More later, comments always welcome. More soon!

Final details added to the Saucer, along with rooms behind the windows. The caveat on that is that I have put a basic room behind the arboretum windows until such times as I build a new set (which I shall do towards the end). Anyway, here's todays offering -

Made a change to the secondary hull, knocked a deck off it. Not sure if this works aesthetically - but you can still fit everything in -

Off to have a break, and then move on to the neck. Comments and critic are always welcome - more soon!

I may well do - I'm leaning towards doing that as the standard hull colours. Need to play around with the hull patterns and see what I can do. I want her to fit in with the fleet, but still be her own thing.

Started on the neck -

Engineering hull looks too shallow, I may return that deck I took out - or rebuild it. Or it may grow on me.

I like that neck, looks a lot like the bow of a ship. As for the colours, I understand that you want it more fleetlike but hey, now and then they might make a whoopsy in spacedock and the right colours don't arrive until tuesday..
