What games are you playing currently?

What's the screen like? I keep seeing comments about screen problems on some forums

The current handheld is essentially a $40 machine when you factor in you get three $20 cartridges with it ($99 for the package), I think it is well worth that price. The screen? It definitely isn’t OLED quality, but it is serviceable. It also has a mini-HDMI out, so you can play it on your HDTV in 720p.

I started Saints Row The Third Remastered. The opening three missions I did were batshit CRAZY

Oh yeah, back when I played it on the PS3, those three missions had done a great job of getting me hooked. I've played the second game as people rave about it, but I honestly preferred the 3rd game. It's just great absurd fun.

But hard core fans always whine and trash Saints Row 3 and 4 as not being true to its roots.

Heh, I'd say the third game is where it peaked. I haven't played the 4th one and its expansions, but I heard it went in a superhero-like direction. Ironically with GTA being the series' main competitor, with GTA 4 being more serious, GTA V on the other hand felt like it became as silly as Saints Row, especially the online.

Well it does and it doesn't, having the powers is an option you can use. But I like 4 for just ramping up the insane a bit more since SR3 was almost already there.

Haven't played SR1, SR3 or the new one, but I enjoyed SR2 and 4.

I probably prefer 4 over any of the GTA games I've played simply because of all the wierd:D

I just picked up a copy of Gotham Knights, it's a lot of fun I don't understand the negative reviews - I'm not an FPS snob so maybe that's why I'm going easy on it.

I thought about playing Gotham Knights. I ignored the negative reviews on Saints Row and loved it. Maybe I'll have the same experience with Gotham Knights :)

I'm looking forward to the game "The Invincible" because it's an adventure game but more because they seem to have a 50s scifi vibe going with this and the previews look really nice.

NCAA Football 13 (Xbox 360).

Lots of fun with the old college game. On a side note, I have one of the earliest 360 models, with a really loud fan and disc drive. Read up about options and decided to use a 64 GB USB thumbstick to install games on. After about a minute in (guessing it is to authenticate the disc) the console now runs whisper quiet.

I started Star Ocean: The Divine Force. I was enjoying it at first but then you get this thing DUMA which makes every fight into “Jam R1 to win”.

currently playing the Aftermath story DLC for Mortal Kombat 11. Not bad of a story DLC for a game but its more of a side story that really doesnt make the plot of the game game any better or whatever.

other games im playing rest of this year

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond
Final Fantasy XIII still
Final Fantasy XV
Bravely Default II. still in the middle of the game from last year
