Star Trek: Picard’ Season 3 To Have Female Khan-Level Villain---But Who?

OK, I was in the wrong thread in my head.

She is retired from acting, no?

It would not be difficult to create one from somewhere.

I'm very curious who the new foe for Picard will be and who the actress is mentioned at comic con.

Joking aside, I've actually been wondering if the villain is a British actress who is do a "friend favour" for Sir Pat. Judy Dench, Maggie Smith, etc....
I actually wasn't joking about the Dench part actually. There is a quote from before that it's someone we've seen a million times before, but not known for Trek. With the information we've had since, she's one of my primary contenders along with Meryl Streep.

But the more I think about it, the more I really want it to be Sigourney Weaver.

It's someone everybody knows? Perhaps Robin Lefler turned bad at some point. Ashley Judd is pretty well-known.

Ashley Judd was in Trek (specifically as Robin Lefler), and Matalas has already said that the actor has never appeared in Trek before.

That aside, taking a goofy normal character from a single episode -- who hardly interacted with Picard -- and turning them into his Khan-level nemesis is a stretch, to say the least.

Phillipa Louvois? Marta Batanides? Janice Manheim? Marie Picard? Or perhaps even.................Kamala?

That level of failure would be a significant step up from the level of failure on display in Picard S2. Is that a win?

Oh no, Nemesis failed more objectively than Into Darkness, Beyond, and any season of Kurtzman era Trek, at least commercially, even if they're clearly not perfect and can be crappy in different ways (and Nemesis failed more with professional critics than with Picard so far).

You're looking back on Berman era Trek with Rose tinted glasses and ignoring why Kurtzman Star Trek is so different, but still Star Trek.

It’ll most likely be a typical predictable Stache twirling villain like that stupid romulan in season 1.

I don't know at least Nemesis had a plot even if not very engaging. Same goes for Disco, JJTrek and PIC s1 ( s1 being the exception as I loved it )

I honestly still don't know what PIC s2 was about. I know obviously it's about Picard's mother but nothing about the time travel or AU or Tallinn or any of it fit together.

It's like it was written Family Guy style using those manatees that just jumble idea balls together.
