Your latest purchases, cont.

Some 80s DC figures I bought online arrived. Superman, Hawkman and Green Lantern from the Super Powers line, and Iron Winch Batman from the 1990 Dark Knight Collection (with which Kenner replaced ToyBiz as the toy licence holder for the Batman movies):

The Batman figure fits in pretty well with the Super Powers figures, they even seem to have used the same sculpt for the upper body muscles. And I like how the cloth cape can be draped over his shoulders:

All in very good shape, look mint to my eyes, and I paid around 60 bucks for the lot.

Two albums by a Retrowave/Synthwave rock band called LeBrock: Fuse and Real Thing
They're kinda a nostalgic guilty pleasure, also they're really good.

I've spent way to much money in the last few days, and I have another not really purchase coming up.
Yesterday was Arizona Gives Day, so I donated to one local animal sanctuary, and am in the process of setting up a tour at another, which I'll have to pay for.
I also bought some groceries, and ended up donating to another sanctuary in NJ after they put out a plea for help after some bad stuff happened. I wasn't going to donate to the NJ sanctuary at first, but I felt so bad for the woman who runs it, that I had to do something to help them out.

Surprise, surprise, I just ordered two more American Girl outfits. One was a jacket for 80s girl Courtney that I'd been planning to get for months, the other is new pajamas for my 1940s girl, Nanea!

I bought a Traeger Timberline 850 yesterday for $400 under msrp - store uses them as a loss leader. I love smoking food and bbqing and this is a super expensive grill but is four season - I'll be cooking brisket overnight when it's - 30 C out. It is delivered tomorrow.

I bought a new to me car today. 2019 Rav 4 LE AWD. Only 18,000 km. They were under on my lease thanks to covid stopping me from driving, every week I owned it they owed me more money. Plus they had people wanting to buy it themselves. So they offered me a good deal on the Rav 4 which was what I was wanting all along and settled for the corolla originally because it was an emergency purchase. Which worked really well for me because my lease was messing up my mortgage application, my broker had advised me to get rid of it ASAP. So everything kinda worked out for once.

Still second guessing myself that I could have negotiated a lot harder, and have every time I bought in the past, but the price on this was already so low and square in the blue and black book values that I knew there wasn't anywhere to go. Still, I got a few hundred knocked off and a set of free winter tires along with the all season so I can't say I didn't get anything.

I grew up pretty poor. Family of 5 living on one parent working part time at a department store. So spending $50 makes me a little sick to my stomach. This week has me awake all night with anxiety
