I have repeatedly stated that if band mates know each other well enough, and are competent, they can do this. I can't explain to you something you don't even think exists.then explain how a whole brass section can “improvise” something like that on the fly.
That's right, you don't know, and you clearly don't understand how popular songs are often requested by audiences, which is utterly baffling to me considering you've apparently been in bands similar to the ones depicted in the episode. I'm sorry you haven't experienced the fun in playing impromptu songs firsthand.I don’t know about your life experience, I know that I’ve been playing in several situations, including bands similar to the one depicted here, and it’s just not possible to do a performance like this without having a written score beforehand. But you say it’s easy…well, I guess that people whose job is to write such scores should be out of business!
