Yeah, that's not how it works. But thanks for playing.I made this call back in 2017 when discovery came out and with plenty of evidence, then they later admitted it anyway. Enterprise as an alternate universe as well.

You do know this is all fictional right? Just because the Enterprise has been updates and they are using modern production values doesn't mean that TOS is danger of suddenly not existing anymore.
we're talking about the phasers not the windows. No, they're visible in the spacedock shot in the first trailer. They correspond to the overhead windows we see in several sets, like Spock's quarters.
It's about 50% bigger - 442m.So after seeing what looked like a two deck tall sickbay in the new trailer (in addition to the larger shuttles and Main engineering) I gotta wonder…how big is the Discoprise. I can’t imagine it’s the same size as it’s TOS counterpart.
I think it is likely scaled up, not as big as the JJ Prise (700m+), but probably similar scaling as adopted by Doug Drexler (~480m/1,500ft) based on door widths, corridor heights, etc.So after seeing what looked like a two deck tall sickbay in the new trailer (in addition to the larger shuttles and Main engineering) I gotta wonder…how big is the Discoprise. That makes sense. Even the corridors seem wider and taller. It's about 50% bigger - 442m.
Well remember the original crew complement was stated to be 203 by Pike himself in The Cage. It was suddenly doubled in all the later incarnations (430); but they really didn't do any changes to the scale of the model itself in 1966.I think it is likely scaled up, not as big as the JJ Prise (700m+), but probably similar scaling as adopted by Doug Drexler (~480m/1,500ft) based on door widths, corridor heights, etc.
The original TOS Enterprise is 288m/947ft
