It was a stray speculation on my part to be fair, but I'm certainly glas Chakotay wasn't Dreadnok.
Yeah, when the writers revealed he could duplicate himself with a replicator they opened the door for him to keep reappearing as much as they want him to.
Corrupt wouldn't be the word, more like Seska and Ro Laren were duplicitous (but not corrupt, certainly not in the Buenamigo sense) on Voyager and TNG, respectively.Another corrupt Starfleet officer?
The term is irritating. How many duplicitous, corrupt, or asshole officers dies Starfleet have?Corrupt wouldn't be the word, more like Seska and Ro Laren were duplicitous (but not corrupt, certainly not in the Buenamigo sense) on Voyager and TNG, respectively.
This is still speculation, but the character apparently will be "a pain in the ass" (but has so far been presented as nothing like, say, Mariner from Lower Decks), she gets the spotlight and according to an old casting rumour, there may be an ensign who's actually someone masquerading much like Seska was (as a Cardassian pretending to be Bajoran among the Maquis). She also is very smart/competent. It seems like it would fit if Asencia has ulterior motives and is not who she seems to be. And if so, vice-admiral Janeway will have a major problem before the end of the season.
Well, they are constantly infiltrated. Section 31 does have a (decent) reason to exist, given the state of Starfleet Intelligence and general lack of security. The term is irritating. How many duplicitous, corrupt, or asshole officers dies Starfleet have?
I suppose this show is introducing kids to Trek, stupid tropes and all...Well, they are constantly infiltrated. Section 31 does have a (decent) reason to exist, given the state of Starfleet Intelligence and general lack of security.
I hope not. After all, the Diviner (and other Vau N'Akat, apparently) went back in time after it already happened. So, while he could still be the cause or a cause of a disastrous first contact in this timeline, that wasn't how it originally went. And I would like a good ending, one where the disaster of the Diviner's timeline can be averted (or is at least left ambiguously).I'm wondering if the Diviner's actions on the Dauntless will inadvertently cause the disastrous first contact with Solum, Shakespeare style.
