My last two cats, Shadow and his sister Natasha (after whom I named the Rikers' daughter in the Titan books), were very different in personality. Shadow was thoughtful and calculating; when playing with a cat toy, he would watch it patiently until the right moment, then strike like a steel trap closing. Tasha was a creature of pure impulse and unfettered appetite; she'd go at a cat toy like the Tasmanian Devil, a whirling dervish of claws and teeth.
The Short Trek "The Girl Who Made the Stars" is getting adapted as a picture book, to be released August 2022: https://www.bookdepository.com/es/G...9780762479023?ref=grid-view&qid=1641215720879 https://books.apple.com/us/book/star-trek-discovery-the-girl-who-made-the-stars/id1602197204
1. And that's a problem how? With pBooks, you are tied to carrying a number of books with you and it's heavier and bulkier. 2. Star Trek eBooks do not have DRM. So you can convert them to the format you need. It's trivial to do. So if you change from a Kindle to a Kobo (better then a Kindle), you can convert to ePub very easily using Calibre.
Granted. I was pleasantly shocked to have no difficulty at all bringing up (and downloading) my library on my new Chromebook. And noticed that the books have a page fairly trumpeting their lack of DRM. For now. And I don't normally carry my library on my person. Books, magazine archives, CDs, or LPs. Nor would the thought of doing so even occur to me, let alone appeal to me.
Not having DRM means that you can convert if you do switch platforms. I don't carry my full library with me. But I do have enough eBook with me that I can choose what I want to read next when I finish what I was reading.
Mirror Geordie (who is not a Captain) is kidnapped by a shady figure with a connection to his past. The one shot is called “Captain La Forge”. So it’s his mum right?
That's already been revealed. We're only getting tie-ins to the current shows and TV series era stories for the older ones.
Has anyone given these a gander yet? I think the first three -- TOS: The Return of the Archons, DIS: Through the Valley of Shadows, and TOS: Spock’s Brain -- are now available.
I was looking forward to these, but they wanted $30 for shipping to the U.S. And no sign of the ebook versions yet.

I just want to hear news about the other Star Trek books besides Picard Second Self by Una McCormack.
Now, this is just ridiculous: https://trekcentral.net/star-trek-books-2022/ Only one novel? I hope this is a mistake; D. Mack suggested there'd be more than one in the recent interviews...
