So I guess SNW starts in June then? If they go straight to LD after that, it would be consistent with LD's yearly schedule, but then they might do another Prodigy run of episodes before that as well (there's supposed to be 20 this season).
With Prodigy’s 20 episode season order, and the second half of the first season set to come later in 2022, I think it’s highly probable that they’ll stretch the release of Prodigy’s seasons, with 10 episodes for around every calendar year. If they do release LD first, and there aren’t any gaps or overlaps in between Trek series, then Prodigy’s S01E11 would premiere on October 13th, 2022, just under a year after the series premiere.
Because of how perfectly it lines up, that’s my current guess. With the current number of series and their number of episodes, half a Prodigy season a year puts the overall number of Trek episodes at 53. If it’s a full 20 Prodigy episodes released annually, it puts the total Trek episodes at 63, and starts to offset everything by over two months, so that feels less likely to me.
We’ll have to wait and see, I suppose!
