I hope it's ok to have a general thread. Also, if anyone has a nice DW quote for the title, I'll try and get it changed.

Apparently, a BBC asset manager has leaked the titles for ep 5 and 6. Not that they're very specific, of course.

    5: Survivors Of The Flux
    6: The Vanquishers

Oh, I hadn't seen it. Should probably move my post there, then. Or leave this as a spoiler & speculation thread?

That one has no spoiler tag. Could we add a spoiler tag to that one? Or merge with a spoiler tag on the combined thread?

No, I have it on good authority you need to sacrifice a goat OR have a pop at Kirk55555 before he deigns to materialize. ;)

I think I've had interactions, of a "stop that" nature, with mods only a handful of times in my 10 years on Trekbbs, and only one official warning, so I'm not the one to bug to summon mods. People may not like a lot of my opinions, but I only very rarely get angry enough to get (usually rightfully) told off by mods.

Anyway, as to the content of this thread, those titles are interesting, but not particularly informative.

I haven't seen much of her, but she's hi-frickin-larious and also gorgeous. I did see a clip of her and John Malkovich on the Jonathan Ross show.

Aisling is very beautiful (to the point they made her the romantic co-lead in a series with Paul Rudd), but also has a tendency to gurn that can easily detract from it. She'd actually make a very good Doctor (her accent isn't an issue as she can do others, but there's actually nowt wrong with an Oirish Doctor anyway) since, like Jodie, she can make you forget the looks and focus on the performance.

I've been a big fan of hers for years thanks to QI and other panel game shows, but she's especially brilliant in This Way Up and Living with Yourself (the aforementioned Paul Rudd series).

Her tenure on Taskmaster Series 5 is worth a watch too. And not just for her in her pants or portraying a sexy robot.

Though she does have to compete with the absolute legends that are Bob (My anus is slightly too high) Mortimer and Sally (Watercooler Moment) Phillips.

A thought about the latest episode.

So a Passenger can contain hundreds of thousands of individuals then...like maybe all the Timelords? (or enough of them to repopulate *Galifrey?)

*Galifrey is still there isn't it? The death particle didn't destroy the planet just wiped all life out. They could always colonise a New Galifrey anyway.

I'm really enjoying series 13, but it does feel like there's one hell of a reset coming!

Given destruction caused by the Flux and all the time shenanigans, that seems likely. But then factor in the the Chibnall to RTD transition and I think it'll be the reset of all resets!

Oh, it's been a while since TBBS started to convince itself a given season of Doctor Who was setting up to reset the entire continuity.

^ Well, I'm not saying that the entire DW continuity (if that even exists) will be reset. Just that the events of Chibnall's era will be undone or forgotten. And the turmoil caused by the Flux will also be undone. We saw it destroying planets in our solar system and that won't stand.
