Odo did love to rub it in that he was the alpha dog of station security. :p

I love his smile and the fact that he had the padd just sitting there waiting for the moment that Worf would come in and do this. "Really?"

The "Vulcans Vulcans Vulcans" bit is oddly my favorite....in like all of Star Trek.

The chase scene was a blast. It gave off a Blues Brothers vibe for me.

It was a risky creative choice that could easily have come across as presumptuous or arrogant, but I thought it played beautifully. They earned some emotion with this one.

I've always liked the characters in this show, but Mariner's display of vulnerability in this episode really made me appreciate how much I like her and how distinctive and nuanced Tawny Newsome's performance is.

I think that was intentional. Bard was even reading off the shops

Yep and given that, I wonder why Spock was refused as Kirk's plus one; as in the 23rd century era the Starship Class/Constitution Class was the top of the line ship for Starfleet. Again the whole reason Mariner was denied access was because she served on a California class; and the party was Vesta class crew or above.

all that was missing was an upside down security car with one of the guards complaining about a broken watch.

This could have been made previously in the thread, as I haven't read the whole thing:
Richard Kind was the voice of the Doopler ambassador.
The Dooplers duplicate when embarrassed, so that you end up with...

    An embarrassment of riches?

Vulcans are classic party poopers, Spock was rejected because they thought he would ruin the party.

It depends on the party, I guess. Perhaps it was exclusive to starships commanded by Commodores (who hadn't yet gone mad.)

The hair was more grey, though. The consensus seems to be it was supposed to be Alex Kurtzman.

Paralyzing the head of the franchise and sticking him in a wheelchair is a power move.
