Something called The Game, which aired on The CW and was then saved by BET, is being revived at Paramount+ with some returning characters.

Henry Cavill has been cast as the lead (no word if it's Connor, Duncan, or someone new) in the new Highlander.

Still not gonna hold my breath on this one. Other attempts have gotten further and died.

No offense to Cavill, but I still think whoever suggested Karen Gillan as the lead earlier in the thread was on the money

I like the idea of Cavill and Gillan as co-stars. Somehow get Christopher Lambert and Adrian Paul in the mix as well in cameo style roles. Colm Meaney in a mentor role. Maybe he trained both of them and they have a conflict and go their separate ways to only be reunited when Coll Meaney is killed in order to avenge his killer. Who should be Denzel Washington.

If you're bringing in Denzel I say forget the rest of the cast. Bring in Paul Rudd & Keanu Reeves and have it all meta with the "real" Hollywood immortals cutting each others heads off.

My ideal of Denzel Washington as a baddie is he still more regular human than immortal but still filled with experience of a hard life because he has experienced racism and fought in the Vietnam war. He didn't become a immortal until dying in 2003 or something like that. He is successful at killing immortals though because he doesn't follow any honor code. He will just shoot them with a gun and when going dead he simply uses his sword to lop off their heads in that moment before coming back to life. Meaning our leads have to come up with a new strategy to kill him other than showing up with a sword expecting a fair fight.

That was actually an episode of the show (soldier sniping other immortals and then cutting off their heads) & kinda in Endgame (immortals ignoring the rules and "cheating" for kills)

It was? I still haven't gotten that far. I am watching the show for the first time and I'm in the middle of season 3.

What nationality will Colm be?

Based on genes alone, Emmanuelle Chriqui would be the last immortal standing.

Isn't there an actress who was cast as a teenager for like 30 years straight? I can't remember who it was.

Edit:. To clarify, she was cast as a believable teenager
