Keaton is set to appear in Morbius, but also in The Flash.... He'll be in Marvel and DC in the same year.
Me too. A sequel was due in 2022 but Universal now have the rights to make lego movies but Warners own Batman so we won't be getting another lego Batman movie. Also the last two lego movies didn't do well so I guess that's why Warners didn't hold onto it.I hadn't heard that, and it's really disappointing, I loved the first one.
Waller gives a big speech about how the world is not safe now that Superman is dead. A human deterrent to alien assholes has to be invented to fill the vacuum.
The problem with that speech, is that Superman was just some hobo that killed a bunch a people, and then killed another bunch of people, and then died.
3 months tops.
Hardly an institution the world had come to rely upon.
Maybe that speech would fit better with a "different" NonSyndarian Superman.
Did you miss the montage of Superman saving people all over the world and becoming a worshipped figure?
EDIT - this was shown in BVS.

Apparently this time it’s actually Burghley House. Shame, as the continuity would’ve been nice (though apparently they used a different place in Returns too)."The Flash" has been shooting at Knebworth House which was Wayne Manor way back in the original Keaton "Batman" movie.
Briana Venskus did that for a while as Agent Vasquez on Supergirl and Agent Piper on Agents of SHIELD. They were basically the exact same character, and they both were absent from their respective shows for a while and then returned to both series in February 2017 in episodes that both involved an impostor hunt in a locked-down base. I'm convinced that Vasquez and Piper are cross-multiversal incarnations of the same entity.
Often fans overlook Tim Burton had little interest in visual continuity in his own sequel. The Batmoblie, the utility belt stayed the same. But the suit was mostly changed and Gotham City too. Wayne Manor’s exterior was a model which does not resemble the original location at all. Batman Returns was filmed mostly on sound stages in Hollywood. Even most of the exteriors. While the original was shot in England. An effort could have been made to carry over those designs even shooting in the USA. But Burton was clear that his goal was to not due a traditional sequel and start fresh.Apparently this time it’s actually Burghley House. Shame, as the continuity would’ve been nice (though apparently they used a different place in Returns too).
That could be interpreted as mocking Snyder and his fans... lol

I do think the Flash movie will be used as a way to smooth out some edges in regards to canon but not with Superman. Henry Cavill is still contracted for one more appearance and the Rock seems very interested in having him in a Black Adam movie.
And in Whedon's Justice League where they really drive the fact home.Would be a good way to explain WW84 since it doesn't fit in with Diana isolating herself away for a century as stated in Batman v. Superman.
But establishing a new tone with the launch of the next Superman franchise is key to Warner Bros.’ DC film future. As such, little will remain of the so-called Snyderverse vision, which enjoyed its last hurrah with Snyder’s four-hour Justice League bowing on HBO Max in March. Among his hand-picked stars that remain are Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Ezra Miller (The Flash).
DC sees its upcoming Flash movie, which began production in April in London, as its way forward in this post-Snyder world. With the inclusion of such characters as Supergirl (Sasha Calle) and Michael Keaton’s Batman, one thing Flash does is set up DC with a multiverse that allows for many of these incarnations and story universes to co-exist and have superheroes interact. So far, every movie and TV show, with the exception of Matt Reeves’ The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson and set for release in March, HBO Max’s spinoff Gotham PD, and Joker and its planned sequel, will take place in the same universe.
The Superman film appears to be moving onto its own track and won’t be part of the universe, as of now. Sources tell THR that Coates is crafting a Kal-El in the vein of the original Superman comics and will have the protagonist hail from Krypton and come to Earth. While the story is currently being crafted and many details could change, one option under consideration is for the film to be a 20th century period piece.
