Why is that a bad thing?
After seeing what Disney has been doing with Mandalorian and the Marvel stuff so far, a 2 hour movie feels so much more limiting now.

That's true; personally, I feel that movies are superficial compared to what series TV is capable of. However, to the general public, movies still have the cachet of being more important and classy than TV series -- and movies still make more money for their studios, so they have higher stakes attached to them from a business standpoint. So relegating Sam to a "TV-only" Captain America would've felt like treating him as less important than his predecessor, not worthy of the major leagues, and that would've sent a bad message.

So the 90s SpidermanTAS has been taken down from Disney+ for some reason. Some people speculate it's for episode reordering or they will do a Spiderman Tab like Star Wars but all the other animated series are still up and I don't think they would need to remove it just to put episodes in the correct order. A bit strange.

Oh, well let's just make it past tense then.
In that case, she's the first director with a Best Director Oscar, but Joe Johnston already had a Best Visual Effects Oscar for his work on Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Not a winner but Kenneth Brannagh already had a Best Director nomination (along with four other nominations in four different categories).

Taika Waititi also already had a nomination but it was for Best Live Action Short Film. That said, he is an Oscar-winning director (for Best Adapted Screenplay) while directing Love and Thunder.

Likewise, Ryan Coogler will be a Oscar-nominated director (for Best Picture) when he does the Black Panther sequel.

Got offered some work on Captain Marvel 2.........working title is Goat Rodeo. That's enough for me to say yes.
That's awesome! Congratulations.

Is it bad that I kind of want Goat Rodeo to be the actual title of the film?

I didn't realize there were that many Oscar nominees and winners involved with the MCU.

Well, that's just the directors. The list is far longer for the actors. I'm sure there are also a fair number of Oscar winners and nominees among the writers, cinematographers, set designers, etc.

Yeah, Snowpiercer is great. They seem to be making really good choices so far for their show's writers.

Kevin Feige was blown away by Chloe Zhao's practical sets for Eternals.

“And I had to keep saying, ‘This is right out of a camera; there’s no VFX work to this at all!’” Feige says. “Because it was a beautiful sunset, with perfect waves and mist coming up from the shore on this giant cliffside — really impressive stuff.” Later, watching Zhao’s Nomadland, he saw similar shots. “Oh! That is not just what she wanted to bring to Marvel,” he remembers thinking. “This is a signature style.”
Sounds pretty promising. I, too, was blown away by what I saw in Nomadland so that that's a good sign for Eternals.

Finally after all these years... Hawkeye.

Wow, he's actually wearing the costume from the comics. I assumed they'd just stick to the ones he'd been wearing in the last few movies.
