Kingpin and Echo are tied together in comics history, somewhat...

Assuming there aren't any further moves, this means we're going to have four MCU movies between early July and Christmas.

I also wonder if they'll move up Loki's debut now that Black Widow will no longer be releasing in May.

I doubt it because they have a Clone Wars show coming out then.

Do I remember correctly that they said in "The Shield" that human beings born with powers (therefore not mutated by terregen mists, experiments, infinity gems etc) were incredible rare but still existed? Did anything in the following productions contradict that?

You mean Agents of SHIELD? I've never seen The Shield, but from what I know of it, that doesn't sound like something this guy would say...

So let's talk Young Avengers. Cassie is now a teen in Ant-man corner of the universe. Billy and Tommy ceased to exist, but they've been introduced, and with a gimmick that could lead them to adolescence at a moment's notice. Kate is on her way when the Hawkeye series finally shows up on Disney+. And unless I am sorely mistaken we met Eli Bradley this weekend at a house in Baltimore.

That just leaves Teddy. Secret Invasion? Captain Marvel 2? Where will our resident Skrull-Kree hybrid make his appearance? At this point Marvel Studios either clearly has thoughts on this subject (not necessarily plans, but certainly thoughts) or they are just trolling, because that's three consecutive projects that have introduced a YA teammate, with a fourth already confirmed and cast and filming.

Keep it there? Or do you reach for Ms. America? Try and shoehorn Ms. Marvel into the fold? And are we thinking film or Disney+ series? Questions are burning a hole in my mind, not least of which is... Iron Lad? Ant-Man & Wasp 2 gets us the key ingredient if you want to go whole hog with it.

Probably be years before anything materializes, if it ever does. But I'll admit my brain works feverishly to make these connections every time one of these characters shows up, or gets aged up to the correct age bracket.

I forgot about Teddy. As you said, there's plenty of opportunity in either of those locations, though.

I do wonder if they also intend to have Kamala Khan join this iteration of the Young Avengers.

I expect there to be 1 young hero team in the mcu, named Young Avengers, but adapting characters and maybe stories from both the YA and the Champions. It just wouldn't make much sense to have 2 different teams treading such similar ground. And the Champions wouldn't work in a direct adaptation, anyway, since the MCU 1st gen heroes are at the peak of their heroicness and fame so the whole 'rejecting the flaws of the older generation' shtick wouldn't make any sense.

So I think Kamala and Riri Williams will both definitely be there. Depending on what happens with White Vision, there could perhaps be Viv Vision as well. Maybe Amadeus Cho's Hulk/Brawn depending on how the hulk franchise is used moving forward. That's probably it, though. I don't see Miles Morales showing up while Peter Parker is still a teenager or Sam Alexander being the very first superpowered Nova in the MCU and teenage Cyclops is obviously not going to happen.

But really, it very well could just be Kamala and Riri since, as has been mentioned, there are already a lot of characters in line for this concept. At some point there's just too many characters to work with. I also wonder about the idea of Iron Lad, for the same reason. Plus the added issue that Ironheart is definitely happening and I don't know that they want to have two different young Iron Man analogs competing with each other. Though, on the other hand, Armor Wars is also confirmed so maybe multiple Iron adjacent characters is exactly what they want.

Yeah, if we do get a Young Avengers team, I definitely expect to see Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, and Riri Williams/Ironheart as part of the team.

They could do YA, but then have "musical differences" regarding Sr. team oversight and lead into Champions that way.

But then we can't have the Champions spin off with Black Widow, Ghost Rider, the Angel, Iceman and Hercules!!!! ;)

I know nothing about that particular team, so no comment on their history, but that's an excellent set of heroes. Well, aside from Hercules. Meh.

Edit: Wait, is the Angel the same person as Archangel or someone else entirely?
