This evening James Gunn retweeted the Illuminerdi's claim about a casting call for Adam Warlock and hilariously responded with:
There is no casting underway for Vol. 3. And in what world would I only cast a “Caucasian” if the character has gold skin? And if I wanted a Zac Efron type wouldn’t I go to Zac Efron? Where do you get this nonsense?

Presumably it's all in set in and around New Asgard, which is right by the sea. Indeed, the spot where Odin died is supposedly right around there too; which incidentally is also the last place we saw Myumew...or what was left of it anyway. I mean she has to pick the hammer up at some point for this to work, no?
Hm, good point about Mjolnir. I hadn't thought about that. The one Thor had in Endgame was sent back from when he took it, so all he has now is Stormbreaker and it doesn't have the same worthiness spell.

Kingsley Ben-Adir, who recently played Malcolm X in One Night in Miami, has been cast as the lead villain in Secret Invasion. I haven't seen it, but I have seen a lot of positive reactions to One Night in Miami, so he should be a good choice for this.
It's going to be a bit confusing that both Ben Kingsley and Kingsley Ben-Adir have been MCU villains.
Maybe they can get David Keith and Keith David to sign up as well.
Given that one of them won the academy award for playing Gandhi in 1982 and the other didn't, I sincerely doubt that.
