Justice League official "Zack Snyder" cut on HBO Max

'Justice is Gray' is released tonight on HBO Max and there might be a few extras in the movie that weren't in the previous version. If you want to see this Universe continue then watch it. The views for the 4 hour version on the day of the premiere were double of WW84's.
What do you mean by extras?

I remember a short while back, that a radio host went to an elementary school, 2nd grade I belive, and he asked what the children's favorite movies are, expecting Wonder woman, or some other Disney movie. The kids said IT, Halloween, Freddy Kruger, etc. all hard R rated movies.. the host was gobsmacked.
So yeah, sadly, kids are watching this stuff, usually parental negligence or that they just don't care, go sit infront of the boob tube while I ignore you..
It comes down to parental responsiblity.. or lack there of.

Let's remember when in the 70s they sold Alien toys to kids...

I had a job at a southern K-Mart of all things in another lifetime and there was an older woman that worked the registers that went by Ms. Cora out of respect. It was never said explicitly but I got the impression that if I ever didn't say Miss that I'd at minimum lose that job and at worse might be limping home (not by her but by everyone else).
My Mom's currently in a rehab facility for a broken hip in South Carolina, and when I talk to her on the phone I can hear the staff calling her "Miss Gladys." It's definitely a thing down there. Kansas, I don't know.

Not just the 70s. Walmart has an exclusive line of Alien toys now.
Well, it's not very comparable. Today it's considered perfectly ok for adults to collect toys and action figures, and Alien now it's a multimedia franchise that spawned kids-friendly videogames, comics and PG13 movie versions. At the time, they targeted these toys to kids who in theory weren't the designed audience for that movie. It would have been like making Exorcist toys!

I don't wish to sound too argumentative but this line is not geared towards collectors. It is produced by Lanard, who is best known for "The CORPS!" GI JOE knock off style line. These are not screen accurate or what not. It's pretty standard kid type fare of monsters and aliens.

I'm not saying that the 70s it wouldn't be surprising; I think there were a lot in the 70s and 80s that did. Just that I don't think Alien has some how become more kid friendly since then.

On one hand Sherlock in the future might find a future without drugs, but he could just as easily find a future with better drugs, oh, I mean worse drugs.

Although?

What if it's a future without cocaine, and Sherlock Holmes reignites the industry?

I’d hope the future is a Harm Reduction one, where all narcotics are legal and there is safe supply, along with services to treat substance abuse.

Only the large Alien monster was released. Kenner stopped the line before they could release the 3 3/4 figures. That pic of the action figures is from Super 7’s recreation of that proposed line, marketed at adult collectors.

I can only assume either some extra scene/alternate take/extra shot. Will find out soon enough after people have seen it.
Seemed like the same movie to me. Just some scenes have been brightened or lowered to make the black and white pop

WB Didn't Want Justice League's Batman & Joker Knightmare Scene according to Snyder...

Shock that WB wanted to leave out one of best parts of the film because WB are fucking awful.

There was a follow up line from Aliens though, which included a variety of alien types (Crab, bull, snake, etc.) as well as a capture vehicle. Supposedly made for an Alien cartoon.

I have no interest in reading a book like that. Everything I've heard about it sounds like it was created by people who are fundamentally embarrassed to still enjoy the superheroes they loved as children and are trying too hard to make them into something "for adults."

Or, to put it another way, I feel like seeing this image means I've already read it (and already seen all of Snyder's filmography):

Have you ever heard of Weapon Brown? To be fair, it is supposed to be a parody.

I've been thinking about it, and despite me liking pretty much all of his movies, Snyder has got to be one of the most technically incompetent directors that still gets big money projects! His movies haven't had any flow since Dawn of the Dead, the pacing is always extremely awkward, there is seemingly no point of view and we randomly bounce around timelines for no reason. His style is also EXACTLY THE SAME in every movie, with slow motion, messed up colors, and nonsensical musical cues. He is literally the least talented director in big budget Hollywood. Like I said, I like his movies, but damn his technical limitations are stunning!

I’ve never had a problem with the pacing. It’s not like Nolan in Dark Knight Rises where weeks seem to go by without any indication.
