The 2021 league year technically already started, so maybe it's time for a new thread. The road to SoFi Stadium has begun.

The draft is just over a month away and Trevor Lawrence looks set to be taken first overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Elsewhere, possibly no team looks more different than the New England Patriots with their plethora of free-agent signings. Looks like Bill Belichick doesn't want any more of "this 7-9 bullsh-t."

Of course, with it looking more and more likely that the 17th game is going ahead, no team will ever go 7-9 again.

Somewhere, Jeff Fisher just stared off into space and declared: "Challenge accepted!"

Then most likely they'll go 7-10...maybe 8-9 tops ;) Especially is the NFC East continues it's winning ways.

Do you think Brady will go for Blanda's record? He only needs 5 more years...

Every game is like the Pro Bowl anymore. So why not?

Guy's led his team to four of the last five Super Bowls and won three of them. And in the one he lost, he threw for 500 yards. Talk about no signs of slowing down...

Blanda spent those last years, at least 5: maybe more, as primarily a kicker, though he wa listed as a quarterback on the roster. If Brady pursues Blanda’s record and continues to play quarterback, not only will he Ned to continue to play like a much younger version of himself, he will massive amounts of luck as well.

But I suppose the Bucs could just keep him on the depth chart a few seasons if they want, even if he’s not playing regularly.

Big moves happening today in the NFL. 49ers move up to #3 in a trade with the Dolphins, Dolphins then move up to #6 in a trade with the Eagles, and the 49ers say they are not trading Jimmy G. I don't think I've been this excited for the NFL draft ever before, and I'm all for it. I hate that the 49ers gave up future #1 picks for the next two years, but the 49ers just got a new QB and Jimmy G is probably getting traded post draft. Crazy day already.

They've never cared about player safety. They want more money to make up for the Covid losses, thus the 17th game. Maybe they should add a couple more teams. That's immediate big bucks right there.

St. Louis, Oakland, San Antonio, and Salt Lake City approve this message.

So will LA in a few years, since those IDIOTS didn't learn the lesson from the Rams and Raiders: they do fine with one team, but when they try to support two, both soon move.

I just don’t see US expansion happening for a long time. There are still cities that are needed for leverage by current teams trying to extort concessions and/or new facilities from their current cities. The Bills are still looking for a stadium deal and the Bengals lease expires in 2026. If Mike Brown passes before then, they may be sold and looking for a new home.

Stan Kroenke spent north of $5 billion dollars on SoFi Stadium, the Rams are not going anywhere. I don’t see the Chargers going anywhere either after paying a $650 million dollar relocation fee.

They can always use various suburbs as bargaining chips the way the Bears did with Arlington Heights, Rosemont or Gary, IN.

If I had been Chicago, I would've laughed in their faces.

Around here, there is no suburb that is going to give the Bengals a multi-billion dollar stadium. Kentucky has ten of the poorest counties in the US and I imagine Indiana isn't too far behind.

Yeah, Gary was an obvious a joke, but Rosemont has money to burn, even back then.

Should have let them gone to Rosemont, would've saved the city money they could've used elsewhere.

Chicago would've misused the money no matter what, and the Bears really belong in the city.

And the road Soldier Field is on has a pretty cool song too ;)
