Justice League official "Zack Snyder" cut on HBO Max

The latest revelations from Carpenter are no surprise at all; despite some people breathlessly tried to defend Whedon with "he's not all bad" arguments, he had a reputation an abusive personality/serial adulterer for a very long time (and Carpenter has claimed he mocked her faith as well). That is the kind of sickening, bottom-dwelling creature he is, and if there was ever going to be any consistency/integrity in how the entertainment business handles this (yeah, sure) Whedon will need to look for another line of work, but I doubt he will ever find himself completely out of the business.

...and Carpenter's support for Fisher is a welcome development, considering all of the attacks he's suffered by those trying to deny his entire claim / defend Whedon.
I'm sure he'll always find work as an uncredited script doctor.

Generally speaking, I think the only thing more  than Zack Snyder is the :rolleyes: "Justice Is Gray" version of JL he is apparently going to inflict upon the world, which for all its sins, surely did nothing to deserve being subjected to such self-indulgent twaddle from this sophomoric edgelord hack.

THAT SAID, I have to admit this shot does look pretty cool in B&W:

So there's that.

Yeah, I'm going to withdraw my defense of the man now that the dominoes are starting to fall. Damn it, Joss! Why did you have to come out to be an asshole? Every time you put a person on a pedestal they always let you down. Well, we'll always have the Avengers...
I'll be honest; something about that guy always rubbed me the wrong way. I could never pin it on anything in particular, but I did note his occasionally self deprecating comments rang a little hollow. It takes a very special kind of raging egotist to feel the need to feign self-effacement. Kind of a red flag right there.

Snyder has confirmed that there is a ten-minute intermission inserted into the cut, on the off chance it might be shown theatrically somedayhttps://screenrant.com/justice-leag...tribution&utm_source=SR-TW&utm_campaign=SR-TW

If it's 4 hours in a theatre you'll need more than 10 minutes just to get to the front of the line for the washroom.
Typically live theatre intermissions are at least 15 minutes. A hockey intermission is usually just under 20 minutes.

Also Snyder says there won't be many jokes in the movie

Good. Superhero films littered with jokes has rendered many a story as silly--like the majority of late Golden /Silver Age comics, or poor adaptations from decades ago that never understood the genre.
