I've heard 2022 for SNW but who knows?
I maybe wrong but yeah, I think LD Season 2 is up next, then Disco S4, Then Picard S2. Dunno where Prodigy and SNW slot in.
I thought he said he was only signed on for the third season. And he said that before the fourth season was officially greenlit. So it's possible he was only signed on for the third, then signed on for the fourth. That's what I think most likely happened.I am surprised Book survived as the actor is supposedly not in the 4th season. But I guess he will be there in the first episode. More importantly Grudge survived and is really a cat.
I’m surely not going to understand what it is by watching this episode, though. Not sure you understand what a plot is.
Wait, they can still demote her first thing next season! The best part of the episode, and something I heartily approve of, is that they got past the will she/won't she stage with this flirtation of Burnham with captainhood. A traditional Trek show with a traditional crew structure should have the CO be the main character.
And starships that were not several hundreds years old!Not just a fleet, but a fleet and a starbase.
Both of which were trying to destroy it.
Remember how that went back in the days of DS9? The station could literally one shot starships.
the premise changed how many times now?The premise is good
Agreed. In retrospect, I think they might have done better by leaving Burnham on the ship a couple of episodes ago: her character-bonding scenes were pointless and might have worked better giving them to Saru.I greatly enjoyed the character work with Saru and Su'kal. Both actors did an amazing job.
it was pretty obvious it would happen, though. Now I don’t think it makes sense that they will “try” to find a way to let him be visible: the holodeck on that ship isn’t supposed to be special, so any holodeck should be able to give him a body.As well as the moments where Gray was made manifest and could be seen.
True. They will bring the show back, though: they’re filming season 4 already. This felt a LOT like a series finale. I'll be curious what they do if they bring the show back for a fourth season.
do they reattach for warp too? Here it goes my theory...Random Treknobabble quibble: what is the point of the separated warp nacelles if they reattach to the ship every time it goes to warp or spore jumps?
She forgot about ship having shields and pressurization, apparently. What exactly was Osyraa planing to do with the pestisde. She mentioned shrapnel was the plan really to cause shrapnel ?
He’s coming back: Michael says he will while talking with Vance. As much as I hate Saru not being Captain, I can't see a better end for his character. I want him back, but will kind of hate it if he comes back, but not really
Plan? Who needs a plan when you are green?I'm not sure what Osyraa's plan here is. Discovery is a sitting duck.
i anticipated the HQ being a huge, fleet-containing, ship in the interstellar void way back after episode 3The HQ is going to pursue? Awesome
as Starfleet’s: Georgiu crushes one in episode 5.Regulator combadges can get destroyed by a boot step. Pretty fragile stuff.
i see what you did here. Neat. This is the first time a Trek series has had a genuinely satisfying season finale(not counting LD) since ENT Season 3. That's almost seventeen years.
or so she wants us to believe.is really a cat.
Unless Saru becomes first officer when he comes back. And Tilly. I said right from "Unification III" she shouldn't be First Officer. It's going to be a permanent thing now it looks like, so she'll grow into the role,
Vance wanted the Federation to join the ChainI know Ossyra being the leader of the Emerald Chain was a deal breaker for Vance, so perhaps with her gone, the Emerald Chain will join the Federation?
They probably count as a TrillSince Adira seems to have received an official Starfleet comission as well, does that mean Earth rejoined the Federation too?
name other typical or good episodes featuring that level of nonsense. So you're saying it's Star Trek?
Don't get my hopes up.Wait, they can still demote her first thing next season!
They could do that, but I wouldn't be too thrilled with it. That would be demoting Saru even though he didn't do anything wrong. I think it makes complete and total sense that he'd want to leave Discovery to help Su'Kal. If he left for any other reason, I'd think it would've been dumb. This made sense.Unless Saru becomes first officer when he comes back.
It's a pretty big cavern. Next season will feature a sub-plot called Zareh's Arduous Journey, which will feature Zareh's trek to escape the turboshaft, and the many friends and conflicts he meets along the way. Spoiler: He isn't the first villain or hero to get lost in Discovery's turbolift system. This will be a multi-episode arc, and likely continue over several seasons.
Burnham said he will come back, so if he stays on discovery it will feel like a demotion, no matter the role. They could do that, but I wouldn't be too thrilled with it. That would be demoting Saru even though he didn't do anything wrong. I think it makes complete and total sense that he'd want to leave Discovery to help Su'Kal. If he left for any other reason, I'd think it would've been dumb. This made sense.
this could be nice. I don’t see it happening, though.I think what I'd like to see is Saru working at Starfleet Command, directly under Vance, if he returns to Starfleet. Vance is the boss they report to every week, and he's in every episode. So if Saru works for Vance, we'd probably see him every week too. It would be like Starfleet Command is like Deep Space Nine and the Discovery is like the Defiant.
I maybe wrong but yeah, I think LD Season 2 is up next, then Disco S4, Then Picard S2. Dunno where Prodigy and SNW slot in.
Legend has it Gandalf actually fought the Balrog in there.Dwarfs to keep my Lord of the Rings references going.![]()
Yea... That was a real fuck up on the writers parts...And starships that were not several hundreds years old!
