I don't see how. But, that's me. Boba Fett is simply uninspiring to bring back.
Entirely consistent with how his character is presented in both the OT and the PT.
From the PT/TCW point of view; Fett is an actual character with depth, pathos, motivations and an interesting history, so rescuing him from a fairly off-hand and ignoble death is worthwhile since now that story can continue either here or elsewhere.
From the OT angle; Fett was just a walking trope. The mysterious gunslinger; the terse "man with no name." He's basically there to look cool and mysterious. He's not meant to be an actual *character* in that sense. So having him show up all silent and mysterious in the stinger feels perfectly in line with that too.
From a plot logic standpoint, it's perfectly reasonably that he'd survive: 1) He's wearing a suit of armor (which this episode explicitly demonstrated is acid proof), is armed to the teeth with explosives, cutting implements, grapple lines, a flame thrower, and has a jet pack. 2)he was explicitly still alive and conscious when he went in. 3) Sarlaccs are explicitly stated to have slow digestion, so time is on his side. 4) That thing just had a sail barge blow up right above it's mouth. All that flaming wreckage and shrapnel probably did a number on it, if not outright killed it.
With all that in mind, It'd be weird if he WAS killed. Hell, even the EU as crappy as it could be at times came to the same conclusion.
Anyway, even Lucas wasn't happy with how things turned out with the pit fight, but it was a difficult (and expensive) shoot, they got the footage that they got and had to live with it. Apparently he briefly contemplated filming some extra footage for the SE's that showed him escaping from the pit after the fact, but (wisely) thought better of it.
Also keep in mind that this could literally be all we ever see of Fett. A wink and a nod to the fans, saying basically: "yes of course that was him in season one, but here, look! There he is for sure this time! Now shut up and enjoy the show!" Either way it's too early to judge. Also consider the precedent; Maul only got interesting AFTER he was resurrected.
