If anyone owns that after CBS, it’s FASA, not Peters or Jenkins in any scenario.but what about "axanar IP" because you know that's like... totally a different and separate thing?

Have Alec said anything about who the new director is?I watched part of the livestream last night (maybe the first 15 minutes). Despite the (legal) protestations to the contrary that he has every right to use them, Alec said they won't and that they're reshooting the parts Paul Jenkins did because they supposedly weren't very good according to third parties; it'll cost around $15k for two additional shoots to finish the film iirc. Also, lots of cute little dogs.
You know the answer to that question. Every cycle of this thing is the same. It's fantastic until a falling out and then it's no good.Have Alec said anything about who the new director is?
As for the stuff Jenkins shot not being very good, I have to wonder what they'd be saying about it if Jenkins was still working on it.

Are the people he threatens really a danger to his gravy train, though? It seems to me like the vast majority of the Axanar faithful can't be swayed by facts or logic. It seems more likely that Alec just can't handle anybody saying anything about him that's not 100% complimentary; he can't stop himself from hitting back. Reminds me more than a little bit of a certain Cheeto-tinted serial tweeter who's always in the news.Funny to see the means Peters will go to, to protect his gravy train.

I don't even think it's part of a deliberate plan to keep the scam going; he can follow the Fandom Menace playbook of stoking middle-aged fanboy rage at the new official Trek productions toTrek keep the money coming in.
Paul Jenkins is not a party to the settlement, therefore he isn’t bound by its confidentiality. As a reporter, I am not either, plus I’m legally entitled to quote anything that is submitted as a public exhibit to a public lawsuit.is it legal to simply make a confidential settlement agreement public?
