There's a diagram showing the different parts with symbols of the species/government. There was a Bajoran, Ferengi, Klingon and Romulan logos pointing to different parts of the ship. There was also another logo that I couldn't make out, it was dark against black against a black screen.

I think that model is higher quality than the Cerritos' lmao. But Makes sense, it's the 'hero ship'.

It seems to be the same layout as the California/Parliament Class bridges, but done in the sovereign design aesthetic.

Yeah, the Titan model has a lot more detail than the Cerritos model.

The Saurian was the one in red with 3 pips, so he must be the Titan's XO.

I'm honestly surprised they canonized the Lune Class design. I thought they'd just make a new ship design they could market.

@Everyone discussing the US elections, the President or his contender here: Keep this out of the thread and, frankly, this forum. Go down to Miscellaneous or TNZ with that, we don't need it here.

Don't expect this argument to carry any weight. CBS can say whatever it wants and it means jack all.

Yeah, I’m surprised about that as well. Granted, I’m biased because I absolutely hate that Titan design, but they totally could have made a different ship since the novelverse isn’t canon. Now I’m worried that they’ll use that awful Enterprise-F design from STO (which also isn’t canon to the prime universe) in PIC. I’d rather we just didn’t see the ship at all if that’s the case.

Yep. This is the same CBS that told me that what I saw in TOS didn’t actually happen the way my eyes showed me.

    Or what?

You seem to be afraid of people expressing different values than yours, to the point of imagining that there's some dire consequence to your disagreeing other than their forming an unflattering opinion of you. Why is that?

I'm glad it's canonized the way it is

10/10. I cheered when the Titan showed up. This series has been an utter delight.

That was awesome! Gave it a 9 simply because it didn't get as many laughs as last week's 10. I wonder what they're going to do about replacing Shaxs. Personally, I think they should go the twin route, new Lt. Shaxs who looks and acts just like his brother and everyone just treats him as if he's the same old Shaxs.

Loved this episode so much. This show changed my mind from a skeptic to a massive fan over a handful of episodes. Third season of discovery is starting and it still has not had the same effect.

Really hope we see more of Boilmer on the Titan on S2. Sad to see Shax die. I quite liked his character

Well, to be fair, Roddenberry gave them the idea. ;)

I think the Titan's designer is a bit happy ;)

I think they should replace Shaxs with a Tamarian security officer who only speaks in Star Trek references- "Kirk and Spock in the Mutara Nebula" "The Enterprise at Genesis" "Edith Keeler under the truck, it's tires squealing." :D

But seriously, it would be cool if the went the Yar/Worf route and promoted a junior officer like Barnes into that position. Winger would probably be funnier, but he's in the science division.

So is Disco season 3 going to end with an ancient unfrozen Riker warping in like "This is Acting Admiral Will Riker and I'm here to shoot your ass! With phasers!"

Well, good for him. His design still sucks. Granted he’s a good designer and he had to follow Pocket Books’ rules for the contest, but the best he could do was a Sovereign/Akira mishmash?
