There's no thread yet for this new Marvel franchise, so I'm starting one.
Back in the '70's everyone was Kung Fu Fighting, and that was a great thing. Marvel had two main titles, Iron Fist and Shang Chi, Master of Kung Fu. The Netflix Iron Fist was, umm, disappointing. (I will admit that the fighting scenes were admirable, although Matt could take Danny in a second.) I have higher hopes for Shang Chi.
I'm a huge fan of the series Kim's Convenience, not just because I live a few blocks from the store, or that we went to see the theatrical play, but also because the show was hilarious and I loved all of the actors. When I saw that Simu Liu (Jung Kim) was playing Shang Chi my eyes lit up and from now on I can't resist. So, I'm admitting my bias here

So far it's looking good, but there's a ways to go. For me, as long as they include a good Black Jack Tarr I'll be good to go.
