Spoilers The Boys: Season 2 on Amazon Prime (2020)

I found this one had my attention this week and it really brought home the cost of this war on everyone. Though I'm still not sure what the endgame for the season is going into the finale. I'm so used to shows coming very sharply to a point going into the season finale that it's odd to have a bunch of threads just loosely floating and moving around.

The show does lay it on a bit thick when it comes to its satirical moments but such are time we are in. It's kind of odd how the Homelander/Stormfront rallies and movements are an undercurrent but don't seem to surface more than they have.

Remember, Almond Joy's got nuts, Mounds don't...

First Congressional hearing I even found interesting and it had to be fictional ..
I'd probably watch C-SPAN more often if there was a chance of head popping.

At first i thought "Well, that's an interesting V side effect" but cringed and laughed equally when he used it Tentacle Hentai porn style on MM :guffaw::guffaw:

That writer's room must be one hell of a place to come up with such an idea.
Based on an article I read on Io9, he's actually a character in the comics. Apparently there he was an ally of the Boys.

Wow, it was great to finally start to see what they've been building to the last few episodes.
So many shocking unexpected moments in this one. Lamplighter's death, the hearing, and Homelander and Stormfront grabbing Ryan were definitely the big ones.
It will be very interesting to see what exactly the aftermath of the second two will be.
We definitely saw some of the dark side of The Church of The Collective with the stuff with Eagle. It was a little scary how quickly The Deep turned on him, it definitely looks like they've got him pretty well brainwashed.
It was great seeing John Noble, though it sounds like this is the only time we'll see him. He definitely plays a lot of bad dads. Was this the first we heard about Butcher's brother?
Could that actually be the end of Black Noir? He seemed to be having a very strong reaction, and it looked like Maeve smashed his eppy pen, so death did seem like a possibility.

^ I think she just kicked the epipen away so maybe there's a chance for ol' Black Noir
Homelander knew about Starlight's escape at the hearing. If black noir was up and about, Homelander would have known about Mave's involvement, yet she was there at the hearing.

It was from behind, never know, seems unlikely but it’s a superhero show. I’m not saying he survived but there was just enough leeway that it’s possible.

I just looked it up on IMDB. I own the extended editions of all the movies but never even realized Karl Urban was there as I only became aware of who he was with Star Trek. I also just learned that he was in the Roman arc of Xena in the nineties, but I haven't watched that show since it first aired.

I think he also had another role in Xena at one point too (Cupid), though it's been a few years since I've seen that. For me, it tends to be an "oh yeah, he was Faromir" as I keep forgetting he was in LOTR. With John Noble, LOTR is probably the first thing I think of.

A very young Antony Starr (Homelander) had a guest role on Xena or/and Hercules as well.

With just a moderate amount of external pressure by the Boys, Vought International's cadre of 'supes have suddenly become very fratricidal, killing each other and Vought employees, at an increasing rate of knots.

I thought I saw a quick shot of her stepping on it before she left the room?

Fringe comes to mind first for me.

I just rewatched it (it's so much easier to go to a certain point watching on PC) and she kicks it out of his grasp and he's left struggling on the floor.

I hope is dead, just for the irony that after everything that's been done to him, it was an Almond Joy that killed him.
