The head popping went so fast, so I had trouble keeping track of who did and didn't survive.

It was a pretty good episode but I am a bit confused in that council woman’s motives with the head exploding. Is she a baddie or goddie? Maybe I’m missing it.

I just saw the season finale. It was a very good ending.
The reveal for the new villain for next season was interesting.
You could almost feel pity for Homelander. He wasn't really a racist but the promise of fame and power by Stormfront made him follow her. He also just badly wanted to be a father to his son in order to compensate for a lack of family that he had growing up.
I think that the Deep will be on his redemption arc next season. What he did to Starlight was reprehensible. But he is more of a shallow and weak minded person than an actual evil person like Stormfront. He also provides the comedy relief because of his shallow and weak behaviour.
And one more thing,

I guess this means the kid is more powerful than Homelander? Homelander's eyebeams just tickled Stormfront while his son's did that to her.
She said something about how she put her arms out of a car window while travvelling to a nice spot near a river under an apple tree.
The finale was very fitting to the series, i liked it!
And im sure this was not the last time we saw ryan, homelander will try to get him back
Homelander is still pretty racist and supremacist, he's just not quite as distorted by and wrapped around racist dogma to the same loony extent that Stormfront is.
I like to think Homeland gave Stormfront a curious, irritated sideways glance for her militant racist views not necessarily because he didn't share her sentiments broadly, but because he's far too much of a monstrous narcissist to fully commit himself to a cause that is supposed to be bigger than him like Stormfront does (ie. National Socialism), as rotten and pernicious as it is.
What a season. Loved it. Stormfront looked like Anakin Skywalker there at the end. Bitch got what she deserved.

Neuman never even occurred to me as a possibility for the head popper. I'm very curious what exactly she's up to, because her head popping seemed to be completely going against her supposed quest to take down Vaught.
The scariest thing about Homelander and Ryan, was the fact that in his own twist Homlandery way, he was actually trying to be a good father.
Butcher's farewell to Becca when MM took her was heartbreaking, and so was her death.
Loved the three way beatdown the ladies gave Stormfront, it was almost The Boys version of the scene with all of the women Avengers in Endgame.
Maeve blackmailing Homelander to get him to back down was a great moment for her. It'll be interesting to see what things are like with The Seven next season. Even if they'll able to play nice in public, I can't see things being very pleasant in private.
Unless Black Noir recovers, there's a good chance they'll need at least one new member of The Seven. They lost Black Noir and Stormfront, which leaves them with 5, but with A-Train back, that takes them back up to 6.

He was a major narcissist without a doubt and stormfront manipulated that aspect of him. But is there any evidence that he was racist ?
