What games are you playing currently?

I picked up The Outer Worlds for PS4. Not sure what I think about it. The only kind of RPGs I've ever played are Paper Mario, South Park The Stick of Truth/Fractured But Whole and the two recent Assassin's Creeds (not really what I'd consider a true RPG). I've also played the three main Borderlands so I'm aware of how skill trees work and allocating points. But, damn there's a lot of options in this game to spec out your character! It's almost giving me anxiety trying to figure out how to spend skill points  Also, and I know this will make me sound old, but the text is so damned small in the ability descriptions that I can't even read it!

You should watch the speed run, someone did Outer Worlds in like 12 minutes

Streets of Rage 4 on the Xbox One. Glad I got it through Game Pass, damn near beat it in one sitting.

WTF? AMD control panel.

I changed a setting or two in Horizon Zero Dawn and now my FPS is an average of 149 That was from my last session which ran for 120 minutes.

Yet in the control panel this is listed as marginal.

Oh and I did a random search on steam for odd games and found this and wondered if this is a prank. It's not a prank. This is an actual game.

Over the last couple days I tried out some demos for Final Fantasy VII Remake, Mega Man 11, and Kingdom Hearts III. I ended up getting a game over on Mega Man, this is the first game I've come across in years that actually has limited lives and game overs. I was a bit hesitant with FFVIIR since I hadn't played a JRPG since FF XI or XII, but really enjoyed the demo.
I already enjoy the Kingdom Hearts games, so I was not surprised I enjoyed the KHIII demo. It was a bit weird seeing the Disney style characters done in such a detailed CG animation. The old PS2 style graphics of the earlier games felt closer to the old animated movies.

I got frustrated with Assassin's Creed: Origins this morning, so I switched over Ghostbusters, and ended up finishing it.

Had a quick go of Life is Strange 2. It's not quite grabbing me yet.

Started ODST and Shadowrun Hong Kong too.

Since X-Wing Squadrons is coming out and looks interesting i have been looking into buying a new Hotas setup (Controlstick and Throttle combo) and to my surprise all mid range models seem to be sold out at the moment (the one i had in mind retails for about 260 Euro).

Then there is a large gap until the Pro models for 600 Euro and above start and that's a bit beyond what i was willing to pay to be able to play X-Wing and Elite Dangerous in style.

Guess i'll have to wait

I went back to finish Journey. That was fun. Along the way I found a neat little game called Flower. Has anyone else played and enjoyed these too?

It's not X-Wing Squadrons, just Squadrons. You play as both an X-Wing pilot, and a TIE Fighter pilot.

Replayed Mankind Divided recently. Now starting my umpteenth replay of Prey (2017). Both grossly underrated games, IMO.

It's quite brilliant. A bit like DX in that I keep finding new things pretty much every time I play it. Looking forward to getting into it again.
