Same. Minus the having to be up at 6:30 part. I was crazy enough to do this with Picard right before the premiere, because I felt the same way I did before I went to my high school reunion a few years earlier. It felt like reconnecting with people I hadn't "seen" in 20 years and catching up with them. And the thing I was most looking forward to was seeing how it would make up for the TNG Movies. Which I thought it ended up doing in spades. No way I'm staying up till 3AM, but I usually wake up by 6:30, and at 30 minutes I'll be able to fit it into my morning no problem.
Thanks for you short review, @Ketwolski! Sounds very promising.
This piqued my interest. Do you mean “song” as in “with sung lyrics”?![]()
Just so we can get a gauge of where you're coming from, what Trek do you love and what Trek do you...like less?
Did we hear it in the little clips they posted? No Lol! Just a very good opening song/music! Very much like TNG!
"Space whales" is your ST4 reference? They were earth humpback whales. That was amazing. It might be my favorite Star Trek series premiere now. Star Trek: Voyage Home even got a reference.
I love how quickly paced this show is. The quips just came flying and McMahn really does know his TNG. Did I even see the Encounter and Farpoint Jelly Fish in the This Season trailer? If they can bring back some of those obscure things and have this kind of storytelling, it's going to be a fun and wild ride. I so can't wait to get deeper into this season.

1. Keep Calm, take a deep breath. 2. Refresh the page, the poll is open now. I just opened it.How the hell are we supposed to rate the episode if the poll closed YESTERDAY and the show just dropped
