Spoilers Dangling Threads

Fleet Admiral

I just finished up Titan: Fortune of War, and it ends on a set up for a possible future book, with Riker, Vale, and Sarai, agreeing to work against Admr. Batanides, but I realized that unless this was resolved in Available Light or Collateral Damage there is a very good chance that this will possibly never be resolved.
With Picard having presented a different version of what happened after Nemesis, this most likely means that the books will have basically reset back to at least right after Nemesis, and Gallery/Pocket will have to stop all of the current post-Nemesis series. I'm holding out hope that the books will possibly get continue as alternate universe, but I know this is unlikely, so there's pretty good chance we have seen the last of the current versions of Titan, the TNG Relaunch, Voyager Realunch, and any other series set after Nemesis. We know of one more possible book dealing with Data, but it's hard to know right now if that will deal with anything besides Data and Lal.
After the end of FoW, I started to wonder if there are any other plot threads that will probably never get resolved.
I haven't read the last two TNG books, last two Voyager books or anything DS9 related after The Fall, so I don't know where all those series are, or how much has been resolved or set up since then.
Voyager does have To Lose The Earth coming out in October, and it sounds like that will be the end of the current story arc, so there's a pretty good chance that will tie up Voyager pretty well.
The only plot threads I know of that have been unresolved right now are the Batanides story in Titan, and what exactly Taurik learned about the future in Armageddon's Arrow.
So have those two been resolved yet, and are there any other plot threads that are still left hanging as of the latest books?

I imagine you will be relieved to learn that the Riker/Batanides/Sarai story line was paid off in my TNG novel Collateral Damage.

I reckon y'oughtta try reading those one of these days.

I can't really speak to what threads have been left un-pulled in other novels, but I can tell you that it's all going to be okay. Take a few deep breaths. Relax. Catch up on your reading. There will be news one of these days....

OK, good to know. I was hoping it was since it is your next book, but I also thought there was it being saved for a Titan book.

I'm working on it, I've already got Available Light on my Kindle account, and it's next on my list once I'm done with the Waypoint 2018 Special, and the SCE paperback collection Miracle Workers.

Good to hear.

From DS9,
Does Sisko's daughter have Prophet abilities? Weyoun was seeking asylum with other Dominion refugees the last I remember.

I guess revealing what the falsework on the Bajoran moon actually is? Or from earlier in the relaunch, if the Oralians were Bajorans?

I just want a concluding Hobus Trilogy. That could wrap up most of the novelverse plot threads.

Just to avoid giving story ideas, merely a wish-an epilogue of said hypothetical trilogy(or book or series) could be set in the far future giving a brief outline of the future of the novelverse in terms of the federation/major characters/milky way galaxy, etc...-entirely a whimsical preference, not giving ideas
Obviously this is doubtful to ever happen, but it would be awesome if it did.

*shrug* For my part, I define "desirable" on my own terms.

I'm still wondering what happened to the Andorian Transporter Duplicate from Titan the Romulans created.
That was before they solved the Andorian Reproductive Crisis correct?

Yep. There ended up being a gap of Titan stories between the introduction of that thread in Fallen Gods and the resolution of the crisis in The Fall, which seems to have led to that story being dropped, given that The Fall advanced things further and there weren’t many novels that went back. Even if we’re going to get some kind of wrap up for major novel plotlines, I’m willing to believe that one is not going to be addressed.

Also, Fallen Gods is just a bad book.

I mean, I’d still have liked to have seen that plot followed up. Pava was a favorite character of mine in the Starfleet Academy comics, so giving her more of a chance to grow and develop is something I’m on board with.

Though yeah... I’d sooner have seen a different author be the one to follow it up.

I'm not a fan of Martin's solo Trek work. They are just not up to the standards that we have come to expect from Star Trek novels. Also, one reason Fallen Gods wasn't followed up on was because the Andorian crisis storyline took a different turn and this book didn't fit in at all. ANother thing I'm annoyed at is that Fallen Gods is a wasted slot in the Titan series.
