My idea for paisley uniforms and spring-soled duty boots will catch on with CBS. you'll see.The last thing CBS should do is listen to what fans want, because no two fans will want the same thing.

Who is "us fans," exactly? "Better" is a matter of opinion. You will not find a consensus on the opinions that you have expressed here. Plenty of fans feel that the new Trek shows are just fine, and that they do not need to be "made better."I feel like that Star Trek Show runner's need to stay consistent in technology (holographic displays and how impractical they are) and the overall optimistic tone of trek in the 90s. Also trying to stay in continuity (all the tribble stuff in that short trek for example) and the technology of the time period in trek lore. basically i was wondering if us as fans could try to contact Alex Kurtzman and all that stuff to ask them to be a little more consistent in technology and the overall tone of trek of not being dark and negitive. Of it being positive and uplifting. I feel like you can keep a show dark and still have it be good (DS9) but you need to balance it out with positive stuff. Thank you
So true.This. Ask ten Star Trek fans what they want out of Star Trek and you'll get ten different answers.
So true.
But apparently, only one faction seems to delude themselves that they are speaking for "the fans".
a Star Trek fan owed nothing by you.

Something tells me this is another hit and run opening post..we shall see.Yes you should write a letter and say just that: "Make Star Trek Better!"
It would be amusing if years from now in the PIC documentary, they ask "When did 'Picard' really hit its stride and become a worldwide phenomenon?" and the answer is, "When we got a letter from this Clark guy! It changed everything! Make Star Trek better, he demanded, so we did!"![]()
I don't.No, everyone thinks that they are speaking for “the fans.”
</Pakled voice>"Make Star Trek Better!"
So, CBS owes the fan base something from the 70s? O_oA bit disingenuous. Without fans in the 70's and on, Star Trek would be worthless to CBS.
