Shall we break the issue down, across the globe, city by city, county by county, province/stay by province/state, country by country?
Shall we start searching to see what, if any, laws have been legislated that prevent people from going here or there in a given region, from one owned property to another? And we haven't even gotten into what someone may list as there primary residence... hmm, suppose someone actually considers, and lists, the rural cottage country property as their primary residence? Their urban property is simply where they reside when they're working? What then?
And we're not talking about governments ordering evacuations during natural disasters. We're talking about small communities politely asking people who only maintain property as a "summer home" to stay away during this pandemic.
Like I said in my earlier post, in answer to the poster who asked what the issue was, I see both sides, and largely agree with the stance of the smaller communities. But I also see the perspective of the people that want to go to their other property because they feel they, and their family, will be less at risk there.
If laws are put in place, that's one thing. But until they are, or martial law is declared, a person that wants to go to their other property still has that right.
