Agents of SHIELD: Season 6

CBR, which occasionally still has some decent articles but has largely degenerated to clickbait (for instance, posting 4-5 different articles reporting one factoid each from another site's single interview with a creator), has posted a particularly dumb article today:

https://www.cbr.com/theory-avengers-clue-hydra-infiltration-shield/

It's reporting the idea that Hydra had infiltrated the World Security Council as far back as The Avengers as if it were an "interesting" new fan theory, even though it acknowledges that Agents of SHIELD explicitly confirmed that when it brought back Powers Boothe as Gideon Malick more than four years ago. Whaa???

Brian cronin's articles are the only thing on that site still worth reading on any regular basis.

As for season 7...

... I am looking forward to it, but...

"... I don't want the game to end."

:(

ETA: I haven't changed my avatar since the second episode of the first season. Guess I'm going to have to look into that...

Sweet. I was still kind of hoping they would move it up a bit because of COVID-19 and maybe they did? I don't know. I'm just happy we finally have a premiere date!

And...yeah, I don't know why people still give CBR the time of day. Screw that crap.

Well, both Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet were dropping vague hints about the possibility a few days back.

I assume that will probably get a sneak peek at Helstrom at some point during the season.

Doesn't Cronin have a half a million different themed articles? Seems everyday there's a new "on going" series.

Yeah, but many of them are fun and interesting, though they can get a bit repetitive when he does two on overlapping topics and reposts some of the same comics pages and commentary in both. The "Legends Revealed" ones can be pretty cool, as well as the ones about comics history and when an idea was introduced -- I even got one of my questions answered once, about when Jimmy Olsen was first established as a photographer (which was in the '78 movie as far as I can tell, and wasn't incorporated into the comics until the '90s).

AoS is my wife's and my favorite series. I'm a Daisy Johnson/Quake fan. :luvlove: We are eager for its return!

That’s still going on? Helstrom didn’t get purged with the other live action Marvel series?
Nope. Helstrom is still a thing. In fact, they finished production on the first season just before the coronavirus shut down Hollywood.

It's actually kind of funny, when Marvel and Hulu announced Helstrom and Ghost Rider, I thought that Ghost Rider was a sure thing and that Helstrom was the longshot to actually make it to air. Turned out the opposite was true.
