Poll What do you think of the Starfleet uniforms in Star Trek: Picard?

I'm torn between the two new styles, really... at first I thought we wouldn't need a new uniform style for the flashbacks and they could've just worn the TNG movie ones, but after seeing the flashback in this week's episode, they grew on me. Now I want to wear both the '80s and '90s uniforms, and the costumers did a terrific job of making them distinct from each other while remaining recognizably Starfleet. Maybe they could've made the collars fit better on the back, but that's my only gripe about them. If nothing else, they seem more interesting and easier on the eyes than the future uniforms TNG-DS9-VOY used.

The writers probably forgot or didn't care. Honestly, Spock shouldn't have needed the wraparound red filter to prevent him from almost going insane communicating with the Medusan Ambassador in TOS since his inner eyelids should have snapped into place and blocked his eyesight at the first moment he sensed something was going wrong.

Only if the Medusans are very bright, in terms of light intensity

Re: the poll, I voted "I like them", but this only applies to the 2399 uniforms -- the flashback circa 2384 ones are a bit ugly IMO, and it'd have been nice to see the FC versions last a smidgen longer than what, 10 years? (particularly after the non-stop updates of the 2360s!)

Can anyone determine what the heck the color of the uniform is supposed to be for Raffi's contact in the latest episode? I really want to say command red, but it's coming across as a faded purple on my screens...

I'd quite like to see some photos of her on set too, just to get a better look at the uniform. But it did look command red on my TV.

I actually liked the uniforms we saw in the 2385 flashback better than the current ones.

They both suck. Early DS9/VOY jumpsuit, FTW.
