Was Sally Kellerman ever the voice of a Disney character? We may have a trifecta here. :D

    What if Picard didn't resign?

Star Fleet Command could have drugged him and this could all be a holodeck simulation to get him to not resign in the end. #it'snotreal :whistle:;)

I can't believe it took me this long to realize Rios' ENH (Emergency Navigational Hologram) has an Irish accent because the majority of early Irish immigrants to the USA were "Navvies" (Navigational Engineers) brought over to work on the railroads...

    Picard: "Who is number one?"

    Dog: "Woof!"

Riker (small voice off in the distance): "Hey!"

No worse than "fire at Will"

Riker: "what is it with you guys?"

I'm getting kind of a "cozy/manor mystery" vibe every time Picard goes back to the comfort of his estate to examine and ponder the latest clues. I enjoy this aspect of the series. Of course, that was subverted when the Zhat Vash invaded. From the preview for ep. 4, it looks like he will be back there again soon, though.

I can't believe they'll pop back to Earth every episode or two. That "study" must be his quarters on the ship or else a holodeck recreation. Seven asks Picard "what are you doing out here?" in that room.

I've been thinking the same. It's hard to believe that it would be safe for Picard to routinely return to his chateau given the Romulan death squad and Rios's warnings about it "getting hot." And we already know later on in the season (IIRC Episode 6 or 7) he ends up in hiding at the Riker's residence.

I'm hoping that the Rikers live on Betazed now.

But they might possibly be somewhere in Alaska.
(that's kinda-sorta what the background looked like in the trailers)
    :techman:

    A stray thought ....

In one of the trailers we see Jean-Luc being dragged away by some Romulan Heavy's...

Perhaps he gets separated from his new Motley Crew and ends up being shipped back to Earth against his will.
Might be why he has to go to Will and Deanna for help?

We also saw dialogue from his chat with Clancy that didn't appear in the final episode. The dragged by heavies bit might have been an early draft of the chateau attack. Alternatively it's setting up Elnor to save him.

The area where they were manhandling Jean-Luc looked more like the buildings from this weeks trailer rather than Chateau Picard.

Now *that* is a great reference for Picard/Prisoner crossover fans! Love it!
