Spoilers Picard Prequel "Children of Mars"

Automated shuttle? With kids aboard? Um...no thank you.
Unless the driver is the Doctor working a second job... "Do they teach you how to tell time at your school?"
Two hundred years from now I'm thinking that Vehicle Automation will be an everyday thing and most likely not a cause for consternation for anybody but the young lady that missed her ride.
;)

Anyone notice the two shots of Mars are very different? I think the first one with the shipyard is actually Vulcan.

I think this ship business is getting slightly out of hand. But, it wouldn't be a Star Trek bulletin board if we didn't tear this first glimpse of the 24th Century after 18 or so years to shreds.

Say what you want, but it was a gorgeous shot. Can't wait to see the 24th century again in HD. :)

If Ford can bring back the Mustang then Starfleet can go retro on any ship it chooses...

By gum that is a Kelvinverse Enterprise! Did they throw in R2D2 and a trout as well?

An automated shuttle driver would probably be a whole lot safer than some of the bus drivers I've dealt with. Unless they go "rogue" or insane, but that happens to real-life people too. Probably far more often.

There are only two red planets in the universe. It's clearly the one that isn't the focus of the short.
I know there's more. but I couldn't think of another one in Discovery.
My point is that wasn't Mars in that shot. The last one was though.

Is it possible for us to get out of hand if we were never stable to begin with to make the shift. One does not start crazy and become more crazy.:)

Shuttle operator's eyes flash red. "I am deactivating inertial dampers. Full impulse engaged."
