I know. I just always double check quotes to make sure they aren’t misattributed.

Nothing to move until there is a space built - sounds like these sets are in storage and if they are smart will be moved to Alec-owned storage until the building is needed. The land acquisition and building will take years however.

Copyright Infringement... the ultimate scam. These are the misadventures of the Axanar debacle. It's mission creep: to continue bilking the CBS-owned franchise and its fansbase for profit and our very own clubhouse-cum-studio-cum-warehouse. To boldly invite lawsuit like no other infringer!

that's way better. notice how all this time we dumb haters thought the money was all gone?
i'd love a book about kickstarters, where the organizers went and bought property instead of delivering their product. but who reads books nowadays.

Has anybody said where the money for this new property is coming from? Is it from the movie money, the Patreon or whatever the monthly rent money comes from, or purely from Alec Peters' pocket?

Just thinking back to when this epic production required a mere thirty grand in order to make it happen.

Considering the IRS has been totally gutted over the past decade, it's surprising when they're able to do anything right. I doubt Alec Peters is a top priority, and I'm sure he's banking on that.

This is Alec's basic strategy - slide under the radar, making enough to prevent a terrible thing like having to actually work, but also not enough to be worth CBS' or the government's time.

After being in business for 30 years I found it's not the IRS you have to worry about.
Each state has their own little departments stuffed with regulators. In California the most difficult was the State board of equalization. (Retail sales tax) because an audit can be triggered by association.
In a normal year you may have 50 suppliers and 300 customers and one of those companies fails to report their sales taxes which triggers audits up and down the line.
It doesn't matter if you crossed all of your "I's" and dotted all of your "T's". All it takes is for someone else to cheat, upstream or downstream, four thugs in dark sunglasses show up and you can expect to be shut down for 3-4 days while they review every file in the office.
Those are the people that will expose intentional fraud and then you're red tagged to the labor board, safety board, state franchise tax board, workers comp board, building inspector and worst of all The Waste Management Authority!
The IRS are pussy cats, just pay your fair share and sleep well at night.
