Very timely considering episode four.
That whole gunslinger comes to town and helps the locals fight the bandits thing.
Yup---did not move the BY story much but a nice stand alone. Really hope we see Cara Dune again!

Though what confused me, was he did it in front of an open window. Someone could have easily seen him.We actually did get to see Mando take his helmet off this week, but we just didn't see his face.
Obi-Wan: "Don't worry, little guy, I'll see to it that you're raised in a loving environment and are raised to know right from wrong and live on the straight and narrow. Just as I did for my young charge Anakin."
Teddy Bears however.................Against infantry it should feel like a killing machine.
He was in shadow for the most part and the top half of the window had some sort of blind obscuring him, you just can't see it in that particular shot since it's above frame along with his head.Though what confused me, was he did it in front of an open window. Someone could have easily seen him.
It was a pretty good episode. I liked the slightly slower pace and I get the idea that perhaps this could be where Mando returns to at the end of the season to escape the world if he wants to. My one question is I get that the red light from the AT-ST's window was supposed to be menacing, but from a practical standpoint, how well can you honestly see the instrumentation with a really bright red light as your primary light source? I honestly don't know. That's why I'm asking.
Teddy Bears however.................
Yeah, now that it's become clear to him that nowhere is safe, it's pretty much his only option. How long before the Mandalorian decides to take the fight to those looking for him?
Actually, red lighting allows you to maintain your night vision, which is why it's frequently used in photography dark rooms, military bunkers, submarines, and anywhere you might find yourself working in the dark. If you're driving the AT-ST while relying on your eyes to see outside through a window and you don't have night-vision optics, it makes complete sense to have red light inside the walker.
It's for a different reason with dark rooms. Red is a safelight for processing black and white photography, used so that you can see what you are doing but it does not affect the paper.Actually, red lighting allows you to maintain your night vision, which is why it's frequently used in photography dark rooms, military bunkers, submarines, and anywhere you might find yourself working in the dark.
Yep - they probably got $50 and a box lunch (That was the going rate for being an unnamed extra in my College days).![]()
Teddy Bears however.................
So, Cara Dune thought the New Republic had put a bounty on her for deserting? That doesn't seem the style of a newly formed 'democratic' government, unless the NR was taking some pages from the old Imperial playbook.
