We’re picking Fred up now! He’s doing a lot better!
So we started seeing blood in his stool a couple days ago and I got worried but I though maybe he ate something red or had been constipated or something. However the next day he was throwing g up blood too so we decided to take him to the animal hospital. You don't have to answer if it's too troubling, but I'm curious as to his ailment requiring the overnight stay.
That looks like a comfortable sweater.

When they took a look at him and the stool they said it was hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. It’s a food born illness. They said they needed to pump him up with fluid so he doesn’t dehydrate. I just was so afraid it was parvo because that has similar symptoms.
All of mine have been/are my kids. Thanks so much @Redfern ! It was scary for sure.
He’s like my child. I don’t know what I would do without him.
