Game Name That Star Trek CHARACTER

Kirok?

1) Amnesia
2) Illogical living with people who believe you to be a god
3) Inside connection coming from the temple and seeing Miramanee.
4) The baby!

1. I am apparently lying about almost everything.
2. Space, the final frontier. And an illogical one in this case.
3. I had an inside connection, but I don't think there was a huge crush of applicants.
4. Did our heavily implied encounter slip past the censors?
Swooping in for the win: Odona!
1. At first meeting with Kirk, she fakes amnesia.
2. No space on this planet, yet the thought of leaving to the vast uninhabited planets doesn't interest them.
3. Dad is Ambassador Hodin. The main requirement for the applicant is to die.
4. Fun in the sack, or Kirk's discussion about birth control.

Correct! Mars Goblins (I believe) almost got it right earlier, but it was the daughter we were after, not the father.

1. She lied about basically everything, as it turns out. And yet, in a credit to Sharon Acker's performance, she's so charming that we don't care. Neither does Kirk.

2. It was of course illogical that the Gideons had the space to build a replica of a Constitution-class starship. But perhaps, as some have suggested, there was holodeck tehcnology involved, which would make a lot more sense.

3. Mars picked up on the "huge crush of applicants" (heh) pun earlier, and presumably there wasn't a large list of people looking to be the Gideon Typhoid Mary. Or would there have been? What of Lazarus? Anyway, Odona got the job and was (ahem) pretty well-qualified anyway.

4. There's a scene where Kirk and Odona happily strut out of Kirk's ersatz quarters. If they're not just emerging from an intimate session, it sure looks like it. And Odona later says, suffering on the bed in the fake quarters, that their journey began "here." Hmmm. Anyway, this isn't as obvious as Deela combing her hair while Kirk puts his boots on, but it's pretty flagrant. And yes, Henoch Red Spocking Hood, this could have meant the intriguing contraception/abortion conversation as well. Well played.

This was a fun one from one of my most underrated episodes. Great guesses, everyone! Henoch, you have the conn.

Clever thinking, but not Cory.

2nd Clue: I bet your first impression of me is that I'm Star Trek's version of Blofeld from the last James Bond movie.

Yes, it is Blofeld Korob. (you have the game, @The Warlord.)
In the Halloween tradition, I chose a character from the Star Trek Halloween episode, Catspaw:
1. Korob's first words comes from the mouth of dead Jackson in the transporter room.
2. Korob's first appearance to Kirk is as he sits in his big wingback chair, a bald white guy talking to his cat. Catspaw aired Oct. 27, 1967. Earlier in the year, You Only Live Twice aired in Jun. 1967, where James Bond meets his main villain, Blofeld, who sits in his big wingback chair, a bald white guy talking to his cat.

Ben Finney from Court Martial where he needs to deep fake Kirk pushing the JETTISON *POD* button from multiple camera angles, including a close up on Kirk's hand. Ben probably thought, "Whew, that was a lot more work than I planned..."

(Standard recording log angles? One angle is a wide angle of the bridge with emphasis on the turbo lift. One is on the Captain's chair front; this camera must be just below the view screen. Another is on the command chair controls from above. Just how many damn cameras are continuously running on the bridge? Maybe it is just one 3D recording of the entire bridge where you can create any view angle requested by the viewer. :techman: And they have no :censored:ing security cameras even in the security areas like the brig? WTF? :wtf: )
