Game Name That Star Trek CHARACTER

Lorisa?
1. I think there were four different camera angles in the small side chamber for the Lorisa/Watkins conversation, alone. This could also apply to the Lorisa disappearance trick where she first goes 2D from her 3D form, then goes 1D from the 2D form, and lastly, goes 0D from the 1D form. (I loved the special effect.)
2. She "addressed" the Enterprise in orbit and sends it away about 1000 lightyears. The Enterprise needed to set a return course back to the planetoid.

My fellow Kalandans. I will set the wrong guesses on automatic. It will selectively defend against all guesses but our own.

Landru?

1) He actually doesn't have multiple camera angles - which is part of the joke. The *show* has multiple camera angles, which Landru has to deal with, but oh no - "I, Landru, don't change whatever view I appear from. I just face front!! What am I to do with all these camera angles!"

2) Kirk and Co elect another course to the one Landru imposes - freedom instead of enslavement.

Bele.png

Bele
, chief officer of the Commission on Political Traitors?
1. Sometimes they film him from the front, sometimes from the left and sometimes from the right. The three faces of Bele.
2. He hijacks the Enterprise, twice, and takes it off course to Cheron.

1. Oh no! I have multiple camera angles!!!
2. Those I address shall elect another course.
3. Maybe I should have just gone to drama school.

Gorgon?

1) a few different camera angles, including the dissolve as the kids bang the table. However, the character/actor does not take advantage of the direction, merely remaining faced forward and monotone. The "oh no!" equates to "what am I gonna do?!"
2) the kids, kirk and Co all eventually overpower him
3) need we say anymore, Mr lawyer?

1. Oh no! I have multiple camera angles!!!
2. Those I address shall elect another course.
3. Maybe I should have just gone to drama school.
4. Click, click.

The invalid Pike?

1) He sees multiple camera angles of himself on the screen from 13 yrs earlier
2) Spock defies his request to not go through with mutiny, ignoring his beeping 'no'
3) The actor was an extra, but if he had gone to drama school he would have been up for the original Pike, look-wise, alongside Hunter. Also, older Pike probably looks back at the footage and ponders at how impressive he was 'acting' against the Talosians and their illusions.
4) The click click is either the beeps, or the clicking on and off of the screen.

5. Now that you helped us figure all that out, please, away with you.

I have a feeling it is Yarnek (or Rock) from "The Savage Curtain".

1. Many camera angles are viewed by the Enterprise crew.
2. When Kirk refuses, Yarnek forces Kirk to choose another course of action.
3. Yarnek is a director of a play in a sense.
4. With crab-like claws he is clickier than a flamenco dancer on amphetamines.
5. After teaching lessons to the rocks, Kirk and Spock are sent away.

Yay! Good job, SPB!

1. Yes, Yarnek and the production crew of EBC (Excalbian Broadcasting Company) really show off their understanding of quick-cut multi-camera action. Sulu in particular gets quite reeled in.

2. Just a paraphrase of one piece of Yarnek's immortal dialogue, almost every word of which is fantastic:

KIRK: Mister Spock and I refuse to participate.
YARNEK: You will decide otherwise.

3. Yarnek refers to "the play," and stages an elaborate spectacle for his people, including two aliens and six Excalbian actors, but in the end, maybe he should have just followed his heart and ponied up for that tuition.

4. Exactly! And when Yarnek brings in Col. Green and Co., he goes "click-click" with his claws to get them to appear. It's awesome.

5. Again, exactly. With this nugget:

KIRK: How many others have you done this to? What gives you the right to hand out life and death?
YARNEK: The same right that brought you here. The need to know new things.
KIRK: We came in peace.
YARNEK: And you may go in peace.

Ah, this was a fun one. I freaking love that episode. Good job, SPB! You have the conn.

Good answer MarsWeeps, but it takes the "so to speak" a little further than I intended.

Clue #2 Some people seek out glory, but I found an association with Glory to be very frustrating.

I have two ideas, but I will go with Cogley

1) He advises Kirk to change his plea after the damning evidence
2) He seeks justice not glory

No, not Cogley.

I'll let you try your other guess before posting another clue. Getting this one in two will be very impressive, so I want to give you the chance.
