Alright everyone, let’s save the politics for Miscellaneous or TNZ. I’m putting the thread on a time out for cooling off and to make sure that everyone gets the message.
What about this?
What would a Picard forum really add? That's the controversial question I want answers too!
Every series has its own forum. Or, at the very least, every series that's already aired. Future of Trek will become very crowded with Picard mixed in with different series coming up down the line.
I half-think there should be a forum for just CBSAA Trek in general with child forums. Or the front page of TrekBBS will look really hairy. But I in no way am advocating for that. It just occurred to me right now literally as I was typing.
And each forum gets its own community. It develops its own characteristics. It'll have its own set of posters who unofficially serve different roles. We'll have counterparts in the PIC Forum. It'll be interesting to see who those turn out to be.
Seems like they would just tuck into to the current chronological break down as the new shows premiere........seems logical.

I get that. I just don't see the pressing need right now .
Doesn't work, since Discovery now covers 2 distinct timezones.
They've gotta do airing order. I never liked the in-universe layout anyway. It was too nerdy (for a site of the nerdiest nerds of all, I know).

I don't see any reason why DISCOVERY can't be included in Two Different Categories.
Season 1 & 2 in it's current location and Season 3 on, in the "2364 - 2378+" forums.
The + being what ever year is deemed to be necessary by T'Bonz.
Anybody who is even half interested in Star Trek will understand why after viewing the episodes.

Search the thread, there are multiple statements. There's also this thread too.
T'Bonz has already commented on it. @King Daniel Beyond linked to her comments, but had stated that it was in process and would be occurring after other engagements on her part.
I rather doubt that any change in the where-a-bouts of DISCOVERY in this BBS, will deter those folks from following and injecting their disdain into the threads.
That "Beast's" nature is something that will probably force itself into the Picard threads as well.

If a separate Disco Season 3+ forum means we get to leave behind "Pike vs. Section 31" Threads and people complaining non-stop about the TOS Era...

I'm sorry, but splitting one show into two forums based on the currently dubious forum organization scheme would be absurd...the tail wagging the dog.
