Dude, don't be rude.I'm beginning to think that a new PICARD Forum is going to take as long to come about as it's taking the Judge to decide the Abdin vs CBS lawsuit.
I have a feeling that every time someone asks when it is going to happen it gets pushed back a day

Pike: "I should've smelled trouble as soon as I saw the prequels and the reboots. Instead of that, I let myself get trapped in that fortress of a thread and attacked by one of their trolls!"

There is nothing to suggest that a season of Picard will equal a year.
But even 24 separate seasons where taking place years apart from other. It would be hard to keep people looking exactly the same over 3+ real life years that it would take to film the 3 seasons if it’s meant to represent only few months in-universe. That’s why there are virtually no shows that try to pull that off.
