Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths to be 5-Part Crossover

I wonder if there's any chance of a cameo or something from the Titans cast. Their series doesn't air on The CW, but it is a WB produced series, on a WB streaming service, with Greg Berlanti as one of it's executive producers, so it doesn't seem to be completely out of the realm of possibility. Hell, before SDCC I would have said that there was a better chance of them showing up than seeing Brandon Routh as Superman, Kevin Conroy as Batman, or Burt Ward back at all.

The way I see it, they have to keep SOME things secret - we're not going to hear about it until it happens, most likely.

I suspect that DC/WB wants the DC Universe shows to stand apart to establish their own distinct identity, since they're still a pretty new service and they don't want it to be seen as a mere extension of the Arrowverse. It doesn't matter as much with regard to older DC shows that have run their course, but with the new stuff, they probably want it to stay independent.

With the cancellation of Krypton, maybe they could/should consider bringing some of the Krypton characters into the crossover.

I might have missed it... but any possibility of even just a flash of the DC FIlm Universe in this Crisis? EVen if it is just a repurposed Justice League scene? (i.e. a movie visual, but some kind of voiceover or imitation, while the character speaking has their backturned)?

I don't think it has been addressed either way by the Arrowverse creators, but as far as I know since they are all owned by Warner Bros. it is theoretically possible it could happen.

They have been separate production and universe/continuity entities up to this point, so I do not see that happening anytime soon. Moreover, it would not fit by any stretch of the imagination.

I wouldn't put it past them to throw in a clip or two if we get a travel through the multiverse kind of scene. Kind of like when we saw '90s Flash for the first time.

It's one thing to have a clip from an old show no longer airing and an active film universe. I would think people much higher up the chain, ie, the film division, would have to approve using any clips or costumes, etc.

I would be surprised if there is anything from the DCEU in the show.

Characters from Black Lightning will make an appearance in the network’s forthcoming Arrowverse crossover “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” the network confirmed at the Television Critics Association summer press tour Sunday morning.

Black Lightning has been separate from the Arrowverse shows since it premiered in 2018, so this will be its first crossover with The CW’s other heroes. That being said, it’s worth noting that “Crisis” isn’t expanding to include a full Black Lightning hour. The massive five-hour event will still just include Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and the forthcoming Batwoman.

Furthermore, Kevin Conroy, who famously voiced Batman on Batman: The Animated Series, will also make an appearance as Bruce Wayne from the future. Of course, Conroy previously voiced this role on Batman Beyond, which was set many years in the future and followed an elderly Bruce Wayne as he mentored a new Batman.

In addition to announcing those two castings, The CW also revealed when “Crisis on Infinite Earths” will begin with Supergirl on Sunday, Dec 8; followed by Batwoman on Monday, Dec. 9 and The Flash on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Following the winter hiatus, the crossover will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 14 with Arrow at 8 p.m. and Legends of Tomorrow at 9:00 p.m.

This crossover is starting to look like a fanboys wet dream. Or is that just me?

Yeah, it is the first universe to get destroyed--prior to the opening scenes.

I would be surprised if there is anything from the DCEU in the show.

They are truly separate productions--this is not the MCU, where they are (in universe) have always been connected to the Marvel TV productions. The DCEU is as far removed from CW/DC as The Real Ghostbusters cartoon was from the movie series--only "connected" in name only, nothing more.

But they're but from Warner Bros., and as far as I know that's really all that matter when it comes to whether or not they could use a clip from it somewhere.
They used a clip from the '90s Flash even though it wasn't connected to the Arrowverse. There are also tons of examples of shows showing clips from other unconnected movies and TV shows, that's basically all I'm talking about here.
Jonah Hex will be appearing in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
