Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths to be 5-Part Crossover

If we're talking about Marvel crossovers now, I've thought it'd be fun if they got Brianna Venskus back -- "Agent Vasquez, is that you?" "No, name's Piper, Agent of SHIELD."
Well, they could pull an unofficial crossover, like they sometimes do in the comics, and have some one (or more) of our heroes jumping from universe to universe and ending up in the wrong one, looking in the faces of cast members of Agents of SHIELD and/or the Marvel Netflix shows, without mentioning names or showing any costumes or insignias. Then our hero says something to the effects of "Whoops, wrong universe", and jumps to the next Earth.

By the way, Marc Guggenheim recently announced that he'll write the Arrow-episode of CoIE with none other than Marv Wolfman himself.

Well, If I wait long enough, my dreams will come true..
Kevin Conroy, THE voice of batman, will be an older batman in the crossover! WOO! Batman Beyond anybody?

I've been a big proponent of Kevin as an older bruce if they EVER did a Batman Beyond!

Oh.. they did use Dean Cain in Supergirl.. and Terry Hatcher in Supes as well, soo maybe a Dean and Terri Hatcher comeback?
I figure they’re going for Batman Beyond Bruce, so hopefully Terry can show up too. I may cry from joy if Terry appears in live action.

In the Multiversity comic series, the stories which play out on Earth-8 are read about on a number of other Earths under the "Major Comics" label. But since the likes of Cisco have already name-dropped a few Marvel characters over the year in the Arrowverse series, I wonder what, if any, conceit they might use in the event that they were to end up using the likes of the Retaliators.

Or, on the other side of the line, if any reference to the Justice League would be name-dropped were Marvel to make use of the current incarnation of the Squadron Supreme of America on-screen.

That said, while the Retaliators are "homage" characters, they aren't necessarily "parody" ones: were they to ever be used on-screen (not that I'd expect that to happen any time soon, if ever), I'd hope that they would be treated as the former, rather than the latter.

By the end Gotham had gotten crazy enough that I could easily see it as part of the Arrowverse multiverse.
Sure, but the point being: would you rather see Wonder Woman, or another Canary, or....Dr. Thompkins!? I mean which of those three is 1) more fun to have randomly pop up in a massive crossover and 2) Have anything even remotely relevant to say or do in said crossover? ;)

Just as a pre-emptive strike, there's a couple of articles out there in the ether that claim that Michael Rosenbaum is appearing in this crossover; both are completely made up and are simply someone pulling ideas out of their ass and trying to pass off wishful thinking as truth.

Michael Rosenbaum even responded to the first "report" via his personal Twitter account to debunk it and tagged Jon Cryer as well.

I have met Michael Rosenbaum. Wonderful guy. It’s one of the last good memories of my father a year before he died from Cancer. I watched Smallville but had issues with it but my Dad watched it religiously every week. He became like a little kid he was so thrilled to met Michael. I rarely saw that side to him...

Anyways... Michael is wonderful with his fans. I am sure if the right offer is made and meaningful role for him exists he would like to do it. But it’s not helpful for those sites to makeup these stories. It setups fans for disappointment. But it also puts the actors in an awkward position. I am not an actor but I think anyone can appreciate the awkwardness of hearing that you have taken a job you never been told the details of yet.

There is an official progress on how roles are offered to actors. First writers have to decide what the role is and it’s size. Than the producers offer to the actor. Than they have to negotiate terms and scheduling. There are so many guest stars appearing already it’s going to be juggling act to make this all work. It’s going to disappointing if some of these characters are just a blink and you miss cameo. This does not shoot until October. Guggenheim said not everyone is finalized yet. They are probably no where close to a shooting script either.

PS - not nearly comparable. But I recently made a transfer to a new position in the store I have worked at for years. I am not comfortable with it. They never replaced me in my old job. I suggested to one manager I am considering going back... Did not take long for the rumor to spread and everyone is thrilled I am going back. I really appreciate it but given how much they want me back it should be on my own terms than... ;)

I can't believe I didn't see that Diggle is actually John Stewart. I remember Flash-90 asking him where his ring was and figured he was just a green lantern there, but Ernie Hudson who played his Stepfather was General Stewart. So if Diggle had a better relationship with him in the Arrowverse he could have taken his last name.

Fans have been speculating for years that Diggle might turn out to be Stewart, and it's just like the Arrowverse producers to give the fans what they want. So I don't think it's something they planned all along, I think it's a retcon they did for the sake of fanservice. Or rather, because they're just as big a bunch of DC fans as their viewers are, so they agreed it was a cool idea.

New rumors are out there that Mark Hamill will appear as Joker in this crossover. https://boundingintocomics.com/2019...owverses-crisis-on-infinite-earths-crossover/

Sigh... Here we go again. Never heard of that site or the podcast they use as source.

I would love it but it was inevitable after Conroy this would be generated by fans. Easy to have Kevin Conroy appear out of costume as Bruce Wayne. Hard to do that with the Joker. Better just to have him as the Trickster again. He never had the air shoes “skywalking shoes” from, the comics. Which Mark has mentioned wanting to do.

I would think it's a little late in the game to add more characters. I'm guessing they know exactly what's going to happen and who they are using.

I just hope that the entire season is a buildup for it on all four shows. Something happening every week, with maybe Arrow being the focal point.

Welling, Hamill, Rosenbaum, Shipp

There are so many rumours flying around right now it's crazy. I'd love all of the above but I'll wait for more reliable confirmation

In general, I would love to get a Arrowverse version of Wonder Woman, and Morena Baccarin would be awesome, it's that I'm a huge Gotham fan and would love to see it connected to the Arrowverse.
To be honest, if they were going to do that, Lee would actually pretty far down on the list of the characters I'd want to see, I just through her in there because people were talking about Morena Baccarin. I'd rather see Gotham's versions of Jim Gordon, Penguin, Barbara Keen, or Alfred before Thompkins.
Hmmm, David Mazouz for Terry McGinnis?

Fake News doesn't count as "rumor", and that's what 3 of those things are.

Help me out here. Is it possible that Gotham and Arrow are on the same Earth?

Gotham didn't take place in the present.

Did anything happen on Gotham or Arrow that could make it impossible? I honestly don't remember.

Wouldn't all the R'as Al Ghul & daughters stuff on Gotham conflict with him on Arrow? Arrow basically took all the classic R'as Al Ghul Bruce Wayne/Batman stuff and put it on Oliver.

I don't think anyone's suggesting that Gotham would take place on Earth-1, just that it would be one of the "Infinite Earths" that share its multiverse.

I still regret that the only time Ra's was cast perfectly in live action was on Gotham, a show I disliked and had stopped watching long before, while the Arrowverse was stuck with the most mediocre live-action Ra's of all time.
