Marvel films, it's time for a Black female lead

they have called me racist and bigots, and they also have backed up their claims. So.. yeah hypocrisy runs wild here.. just because my opinion is not the most popular it's easy to put me down

Devil Dinosaur is a boy?

Moongirl's Reed Richards plus super intelligence is not her superpower, she body switches with a tyranasaurus rex dude.

Black preteen presexual girl with a scaly blood red, 12 foot long, winkle, definitely still a virgin has still likely had to relieve herself as a (male) dinosaur.

Although waste (for birds, even male birds, and birds used to be dinosaurs) is mushed up, and released from their cloaca.

So apart from memorizing several biology text books explaining everything, Lunella is still sweet and innocent.

Maybe 2 years ago, the Vision got bored, and made a pleasantville family. A synthetic wife and two kids. The boy and his mom are dead already. Sad. But the daughter, Vi, kissed a teen male Asian version of the Hulk AND IronHeart/Riwi Williams. To begin with Vi looks plastic like her father, pink plastic, however after a situation, Vi now presents as an African American teen human being, who appears to be bisexual.

The upcoming TV show WandaVision might adapt features from this series, even though there was a vision scarlet witch series from the 80s were they set up in the suburbs.

People have been dissing me throughout this thread.

I haven't been dissing you so much as the things you are putting forward.

What I want doesn't exclude a diverse cast.. I just don't want the film to remind me of THAT.. because it would break my immersion.

What does that even MEAN? You don't mind a diverse cast as look as you don't see them? Hear them? What does "reminding" mean?

Edited to add: Not that I think you'll answer, but, I'm not interested. You've shown who you are quite clearly.

So what are you even asking me. I just want a film to immerse me in the world. You know.. story and characters..

Personally the thread title is ridiculous. We don't NEED anything in the MCU. The MCU is already going on too long. Who the fuck cares what happens now that Caps or Tony's story s complete. And Spidey is gone now. We don't need any character or anything to come next. The MCU is done, and we are now seeing it choking

So how exactly does a movie include a diverse cast without breaking your immersion?

If that was the case the Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Thor, Captain Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther movies would all have bombed.

And you can't become immersed in a world that openly acknowledges that black or gay people or women are different from the straight white male norm in any way. If they just show up and play their part without drawing any kind of attention to their blackness or femininity or other opinions or traits that don't conform to your own you can tolerate it, sort of, but if they dare draw attention to who they are or how they feel in any way than they're taking attention away from the story and the characters and making it all about their uppity agenda, and that breaks your precious fourth wall of fragility.

They can have their gay character, but he better not be the type of gay character who openly acknowledges having sex with other men, because that will take me completely out of the moment if I have to think about that icky stuff. They can have their female character, but she better not upstage her male counterparts at any point, or demonstrate competence in a previously male-dominated skill onscreen, or acknowledge that she'd like equal rights or to be treated with respect as a woman. They can have their black character, but they better not remind me that they might not have the same glowing perspective on the state of race relations in this country that I do, or listen to any of that rap music (more like crap music, amirite?).

As long as they are just cookie-cutter cutouts of standard white male characters with the color settings changed or with some breasts slapped on them you can put up with it. Anything else takes you out of the film and violates the sanctity of the storytelling process.

Personally the thread title is ridiculous. We don't NEED anything in the MCU.
And as has already been explained to you, the thread title was started by a straight white male troll who has now been banned by the admin for pretending to be at various times a half-black/half-Asian lesbian or a half-black/half-white lesbian in order to provide themselves cover when they complained about Brie Larson or Natalie Portman or women and black performers gaining more representation in film. It was their way of saying, "I can't be a racist, I'm a black Asian lesbian!" Except we got screenshots dating back to when you said you were straight white guy. Whoops.

The MCU is already going on too long. Who the fuck cares what happens now that Caps or Tony's story s complete. And Spidey is gone now. We don't need any character or anything to come next. The MCU is done, and we are now seeing it choking
Your lack of self-awareness is astonishing given everything that's been said to you in this thread.

"Now that the original main white dudes have finished their story arcs and there was a dispute over Spider-Man, might as well pack it in Marvel, because you're through."

Never mind that Captain Marvel just made 1.128 billion or that Black Panther made 1.344 billion before that, they can't possibly form the foundations for a new phase of successful Marvel films. It's over now that you have to rely on more black people and women.

Maybe Tom and Jacob could do some Euphoria next season?

Jacob did a movie with the little blond girl who plays Betty last year.

They're all probably good friends. :)

The main guys are the X-Men, and they just got off the bench.

Reading a big gay list, and they're telling me that Wonder man is gay.

When did that happen?

https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Homosexual_Characters

30 years chasing the Scarlet Witch who spent most of the time romantic with her toaster, and now it's all a laugh.

The list also has 6 different Northstar (Canadian speedster who flies) from parallel worlds. It must be confusing on grindr when they are all on the same Earth for a Crisis.

No one in this thread has called you a racist or a bigot. What I've done is state that the things you write here and apparently believe, are the things that racists and bigots say and believe.

Oh poor me. They call me names because I don't agree with them. If this is not some of the most self serving, disingenuous bullshit... What is being dissed is the stuff you've been writing here, not you personally. But it's a lot easier to play victim than realize that some of the things you believe and probably thought sounded pretty smart, are viewed very differently by others.

The studios generally haven't talked about diversity per se but they have answered questions when about asked by reporters. When Disney announced Haillie Berry would play Ariel, most of the talk about diversity came people who don't like diversity. The studio simply made a casting announcement.

Truth is, diversity is still a novelty and as such will continue to draw attention for a while. Hopefully, as the years go by, diversity won't be so unusual and people won't feel the need to talk about it as much.

So is Wiccan, a gay white boy, Wanda's kid, going to be in WandaVision?

Olsen is hardly old enough to have a teenage kid.

Considering her other child is a Speedster with white hair, you have to ask if Wanda slept with her brother, and Vision is as Gullible was Finn Hudson from Glee?

:guffaw:

Black Panther called. He wants to laugh at you.

And so does Captain Marvel.
I don't believe it. They both would need to get better sense of humors. MCU equation to great character is they must be the funniest character in the movie or funniest to make fun of. Jason
