Marvel films, it's time for a Black female lead

did you happen to catch her "I hate white people" line.
No?

It was an incomplete part of a sentence which could just as easily have been ironic, or a commentary on exactly this very scrutiny.

We have no way of knowing without reading the post in its' entirety.

As for the Boris Johnson stuff, what is that illustrating?

I know next to nothing about Boris Johnson except he is the new English PM, he is the man behind Brexit, and he has discheveled blonde hair. Is he really a racist bigot?

I was curious about him so I looked at Wikipedia.
It says:

Johnson is a controversial figure within British politics and journalism. Supporters have praised him as an entertaining, humorous, and popular figure, with an appeal stretching beyond traditional conservative voters. He has been criticised by figures on both the left and the right for using racist and homophobic language, as well as alleged elitism, cronyism, dishonesty, and laziness. Johnson is the subject of several biographies and a number of fictionalised portrayals.

Hmm. When people want change they find their man.

Here is Jon Oliver's take:

Basically, all of the disheveled hair and disorganization are just a means to distract from his real agenda.

So you just have not read my last few posts, especially when I said originally my point was difficult to articulate (and more recently I was able to)
And as I said before, the points you have been making have not been difficult to understand at all. I don't suppose you'd like to point out what it is you think we've misunderstood.
it really doesn't matter. there are a few blacks.
It does matter and IF there were racial minorities or women in these discussions, just because they didn't start complaining about lack of diversity, didn't mean they weren't aware of the lack of diversity, or weren't bothered by it.

Others have pointed this out to you but think it bears repeating.
But my problem is roced diversity, making a hot button button political issue that is current the reason for making decisions regarding entertainment .
I'm assuming you meant "forced" diversity. This is an example of you espousing racist ideals possibly without being aware that that is what you're doing.

History has proven that allowing diversity to happen on it's own does not work. Diversity takes a concerted effort by studios and producers (decision makers) or else it doesn't happen. You might refer to this as "forced" diversity. Given that diversity only happens when "forced", saying that you are against it being forced is tantamount to saying you don't really want diversity, which means simply that you want a return to, or continuation of, the all white male dominated movie and TV industry.

Now, that's not what you want, is it? :)
I mean my favorite rock singer is black. One of my top 5 favorite actors is black. but i like them for what they do not what race they are
So how could one such as you, possibly espouse a racist ideal?

He did, it's worth pointing out, spend 30 plus years as a journalist and politician creating that want for change. We didn't find him, he found us.

Anyways, back on track before anyone gets told off.

GALACTUS.

Devouror of Worlds.

"IT" is so far beyond us, that every single "non-cosmic"-thing in the universe, perceives Galactus' appearance to be markedly different, most likely built from the observer's own world view.

When a black lesbian looks at Galactus, at least half the time, that black lesbian sees another (80 foot tall) black lesbian... Or you know, a fucking cloud. Stupid movie.

Of course if your life is found lacking 80 foot tall black women, there's always the Numinus, who is a dead ringer for Whoopie Goldberg, but just a skosh taller.

It’s Space Whoopi!

No...the other Space Whoopi!

Julie Power (from Power Pack)... The girl who leaves a RAINBOW trail behind her when she flies (Her younger sister and older brother have also had that power, their powers get shuffled sometimes.), is gay and dated Karolina Dean from the Runaways for quite a while.

Xavin is a Skrull who "mostly" presented as a human black lesbian, to keep her "then" girlfriend (Karolina) happy, who opposed the shape-shifter presenting as a Skrull or a male. A decade before the term woke was coined, Karolina wigged out whenever her girlfriend grew a penis.

It's possible that Skrulls don't have gender in their natural state.

A hollow sentiment coming from someone who made himself white.

The official story, which we have no reason to refute, is that that was mostly a genetic condition, and he then used bleach products to look less uneven because his pigments were patchy... Although what he did to his nose is just fucked up.

Also, not why he is a monster.

People have been dissing me throughout this thread. I've not attacked anyone. What I want doesn't exclude a diverse cast.. I just don't want the film to remind me of THAT.. because it would break my immersion. And that's what I look for most in a film.. immersion.. even in a fantasy film.. there has to be verisimilitude, the sense that all this stuff that is complete fantasy still feels of a piece, that the world is real. So I didn't feel that it didn't belong when a pasty white farmer, a pasty white truck driver, and two peasants run into trouble on their trip (this is the first SW film by the way).. I believed it, I was NOT taken out of the film by what race they were or what race they weren't (same with gender or anything else). I love female superheroes.. I like buying the comics, yet when they lineup pf all the female characters are in the same shot, I was taken out of the moment, the shot was too self-aware.. and it's ok as a fan service moment, but it was hard to get back into the movie right away, as quickly as I needed to

Where have you been personally attacked? I just see people wanting you to back up your claims, which you have largely been unable to do.
