well, yeah. Plus there's no money in a series of novels and merchandise based on Odo. That's why I made that comment. Especially in Disco forum apparently
Please feel free to go into great detail about everything that crosses your mind. I'll hold your beer / binkie / hoveround.
I'm going to give you a friendly reminder to please not get personal with other posters. Post, not poster. Just out of curiosity, have you read I, the Constable?
Are you sure? I for one think that the idea of a shapeshifting detective has a certain potential. Also, the wormhole and its supernatural inhabitants offer the possibilities of space travel in all 4 quadrants, time travel and alternative realities including our own one. Give him a contrary sidekick, for example Quark or Neelix and/or an interesting opponent like Q. Basically like Doctor Who, only that not the vehicle blends in, chameleon-like but Odo. Come to think of it: a crossover between both might propably be interesting, particularly with Doctors 1-4.
Ever wonder how they put toothpaste in a tube so it comes out in neat stripes and not all messed up? If someone knows the answer I'd be curious to know.
From the original novel: Hook was not his true name. To reveal who he really was would even at this date set the country in a blaze. Of course, "Once Upon a Time" didn't give a shit and named him Killian Jones. Which set no country in a blaze.
Archeologists have found that Australia was colonized by humanity 65, 000 years ago which is quite early considering that the first humans on the American continent date back only about 15, 000 years. That's strange, given that you could practically go from Europe to America on foot back then, while there's quite a sailing distance from Africa to Australia. I guess it must have been the cold weather that was the deterrent. You can't "walk" from Europe to America without going through the coldest inhabitable regions on Earth. That has kept people at bay for 50,000 years!!!
i was looking for a screencap of an episode in ds9 as i just saw a curious alien that i never have noticed before, but in my google search for different places to find that, i randomly came across a clip of Simone Biles. I have never heard her name before as im not heavily into Artistic Gymnastics, it's cool to watch tho when it's suddenly on the telly, But anyway, in the clip i saw she apparently performed something referred to as a "physics-defying move", and thats why i stopped and didnt continue to scroll.... it was something quite strange and unreal about what i saw; Biles became the first gymnast to land a triple-double—two flips and three twists—cleanly in competition. So.... after a long jaw_drop (how the h... is that possible.. ) i continued to look for a cap of the alien and i found one, (why the h... cant i grab a screen from netflix? That would have been much easier but then i wouldnt have found the clip of Simone Biles so whatever Here: the curious Alien i'm going to go back to ds9 now and watch that creepy Founder-Lady messing with Odo... Oh..Yes, is there any info about that "blueskin" ? i think i'm a little hungry...am i thirsty?
even more unidentified aliens, watching "statistical probabilities" and these two pops up... (no, not the two in the middle)
There's also the aliens that are talked about and we never see. Like one who's budding and apparently asexual which of course is highly improbable since "asexual" life would take much much longer to evolve than sexual life. Plus how about the guy with a transparent skull that they talk about in several episodes?
My bank keeps sending me a letter telling me that if I update my income, they will go forward with my "pre-approved" credit limit increase. And I have to do it by the next month to get it. Every time I ignore it, the deadline passes, and then they send me a new letter with a new deadline.
oh yeah thats right... the dude with the transparent skull... Jadzia liked him but Kira had some problems with seeing his brain i think, hehe=) im going to keep my eyes (and ears) peeled going forward.
I wonder if there are any energy beings in the Federation, like the people in Pahvo. Wesley's "girlfriend" in one of the TNG episodes looked like she could be one too The Medusian in TOS also could be an energy being of sorts, one that makes people crazy when they look at it.
You know you’re getting older when you actually start giving a crap about wearing nice clothes when you fly.
