Hmm, it's been a while but wasn't TOS remastered out of order for broadcast?
From that same episdoe: http://tos.trekcore.com/hd/albums/3x05hd/isthereintruthnobeautyhd0614.jpg
I'm seeing both red and red-orange in that image. The ceiling trim appears red-orange on the left part of the image, whereas it appears more red towards the right. Still a lot more red than what we saw in Season One though?
...But did Michael Chapman ever go to the registration desk?
Showing the madness that existed behind the science console:
Using my render to demonstrate the unbroken wall of consoles on the starboard side of the bridge:
Showing his work on the weapon's station, first with my render and then with BTS photos:
Showing some of his graphic design work, working in tandem with Lee Cole:
Telling the story about how he had to arrive to the set one morning to give James Doohan a rundown of how to operate the travel pod:
I didn't know he's the guy responsible for designing those overhead corridor displays!
And he provided the graphics on the containers and the Cyrogenics labels on the cryo-storage unit that was part of the sickbay set (and the transporter room set in TWOK)
And a concept I'd never seen before of the engineering revamp from Phase II to TMP!

Glad to hear you got to meet him. Rick's a good guy. I took him to lunch in June In Culver City and finally got to pay him back for help me gave me 26 years ago on the Sega Genesis DS9 game I was working on.[...]@Rick Sternbach[/USER] contacted me and asked if he could use some pictures from my TMP Enterprise bridge in his slideshow for the TMP 40th Anniversary panel at STLV. I, of course, jumped at the opportunity. He explained to me that they'd just be used as reference, since it's hard to find clear shots of the bridge without people or behind-the-scenes photos that are crisp and vivid.
Anyway, I actually got to shake hands with him before the panel where he thanked me. He's a super nice guy and it was an honor to have a man that has done so much great work for the franchise use my renders to help talk about his experiences working on TMP.
"Jet engine compressor blades"? If one may quote ST:TMP's chief graphics/instrumentation designer, Lee Cole:
I believe I have a copy of those plans. I can send them to you. That's a cool thing. Did you bug him for a copy of those travel pod plans?![]()
Well, I meant so that you could model it. Or have you already?I believe I have a copy of those plans. I can send them to you.
