Jake Sisko the worst

Jake Sisko was the the very worst character in the Star Trek universe, in just about every episode that he appears in he's either on the verge of crying or plain out crying. He lives on a space station in space with all the dangers that entails and he never toughens up. ok he losses his mother in season one at an early age, but that should have help him to grow up quicker and become a man, but he never does. If we are to believe in this character his father would have sent him to live with his grandfather on earth. His father would have seen that his son couldnt make it living on a DS9 with all the dangers that surround them on the station, he's consistently a nervous wreck. He should have been a girl at least that would have been believable.

Consider what this post might say about you and your attitudes.

I can think of three adult characters on Voyager and three on Enterprise whose character grew less than Jake's. The six characters who are easily worse.

Thanks for playing.

The only scenes with Jake I didn't like were in novels. And those novels were good at least.

Jake really did need to toughen up and grow up. Only a real pussy would go out of his way to help a friend with learning to read after that friend was prevented from going to school. Worst guy eva.

Yeah or let a woman talk and have an opinion! She wouldn't even chew his foot!

Also in Nor the Battle, the episode where Jake mostly shows fear. He published an article admitting to his cowardice.

The only times he's really a brat are in season 1 and that episode where he moves in with Nog.

Well that couldn't have been more wrong if you'd tried.

Not only does your post betray worrying attitudes about what "being a man" is, it completely mischaracterises Jake and ignores all the times he was brave, self sacrificing and dedicated.

I enjoyed Jake and Ben. Jake and Nog. Jake as a reporter.
