I suspect it's more from losing every fight because they try to fight fair against opponents who lie and cheat their way to a win.
Someone needs to sit down and carefully explain to Queenslanders there aren't 10,000 jobs in the Adani mine, there are ~1500. There are more jobs available in renewables (~5000). The blatant lies have been terrible. And the LNP thought they'd lose, so left a couple of economic boobytraps behind, which they now have to sort themselves. Karma's an... accountant.
At this stage I'm pretty much hoping for a recession. Might finally break the myth that the Coalition is the better economic manager. Although I'm sure they'll still find a way to blame Labor for it.
Well anything good that happens is their fault. Like the global recovery of the world economy and increasing ore prices. Only bad things aren't their fault.

It's worth pointing out when the date was arranged the Chinese knew what it was... you know, that date nothing happened. I have a whole personal story about China, I might share it another time.
